They did. They took away the right of the Democrats to chooseThey did nothing of the sort...except in the minds of people (who forgot you should be careful what you wish for)...getting their wish.
Your side was the side mostly talking about how he should step aside. Your side claimed he was too old and too near to dementia to be a candidate. Okay...that was your right. And it was his right to heed your advice and step aside.
Then the convention delegates did what they are supposed to do. They chose a candidate. And as I remember it, most of the people on your side were positive she would make a horrible candidate.
Tsk, tsk.
Well, think again, because if he insisted, rather than deciding to stop his run, there is not a single thing the Democrats could (or would) do about it. IT WAS HIS CHOICE...no matter if the reason was the attacks from your side...or the considerations from the Democrats side.
IT WAS HIS CHOICE.
IT WAS HIS CHOICE...PERIOD!
an alternate candidate to run in Biden's place. Having the people
vote for their choice of candidate is how it's been done in the past
Many of us wanted him to run. Yes, there were those who said he
was too old and developed dementia.
That is correct. If he chose to run, he was the incumbent and duly
voted in the primary as the Democrat's candidate.
There surely were attacks from our side. There's no denying that.
Ironically, he was in it to win it and was "sharp as a tack" according
to his vice president. Then, there's a pullout of some bigger donors,
a meeting between Obama, Pelosi and Shummer. All of a sudden,
Joe quits and Harris is thrust into becoming the queen bee of the
whole damn hornet's nest The lowest rated VP in history suddenly
becomes Cinderella.
Frank! Settle down! Don't blow a fuse over this. We want you to
hang around for a while yet.
Yes. It was his (influenced) choice. He would have lost anyway.
