The 'No Kings' protests made their way back to North Carolina, the first of which started in Apex at 9:30 a.m.

12:45 p.m.: Some smaller roads have closed around Capital Blvd as the crowd gets larger. However, the roads could be getting cleared soon as many demonstrators are expected to head down to the protest at the State Capitol.

12:30 p.m.: Richard Huggins, a former corporate pilot, held a sign on Capital Blvd that read, 'Fight truth decay, no more lies or democracy dies'. Huggins said, "I haven't been to a protest since I protested in high school against the Vietnam War, but it's time we all stood up and do something."

He added, "You can't believe a word he [President Trump] says. I've met Trump before, I met him the day announced his candidacy for the first one... Now, it's snowballed into this catastrophe of a government."

More than 70 towns and cities in N.C. will host events. Here are 12 locations across the Triangle:

Expect delays?

Why? I wouldn't even slow down.

Just got back from the protest in my hometown. The crowd was large and vocal. Lots of signs indicating the considerable discontent the protestors have with Trump...and his administration. The protest was on a highway with lots of traffic...and the sound of honking horns continued throughout the demonstration.

I am proud to have participated in what I figure will eventually be considered the largest protest ever.

I went by the location at Bell and 59th (the wife wanted Dutch Bros). Nobody there around 10 am. So, it would seem that just because one was scheduled doesn't mean it actually happened.

Sorry loser, you're little ad won't help. This was a disaster for you idiots. Millions of dollars spent to fluff up three cities didn't help get people motivated. Everywhere I checked out was a small group of old geezers trying to relive their hippy days before checking out. Absolutely pathetic display of everything nobody wants to be. All that money, the signs, the stupid floats and props, the countless paid protesters, all for an embarrassing turn out.

What's hilarious? Morons like Guny are reading click-bait stories still using 'we're 'expecting' millions', or my favorite, 'could' be the biggest one yet.' So, simpletons like this loser are being told how successful it's been. This is necessary for the very sensitive snowflakes, their emotions are very delicate these days. It's best to tell them what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear.

It's not a success, it's a joke. It's a reminder for all of us why the midterms are so important. Thanks for that.

It was great energy at our protest! I handed out flags!
