A Growing Volume Of Evidence Undercuts ‘Consensus’ Climate Science

I'm honored!

That doesn't prove a thing.

Do you accept the impossibility of politically-motivated fabrication and manipulation of data, anchovies?

Apparently, you do.

I don't.

Trump is destroying your alleged "consensus", and you are powerless to stop him.

Oh, so now NASA and the other umpteen Scientific Organizations listed are all endorsing "politically-motivated fabrication and manipulation of data," got it, but your man Trump isn't, that's understandable coming from the emoji

I'm honored!

I have installed a webcrawler bot that searches for key words to white list or black list by any poster. You have not used them within 20 posts therefore are off auto block. You flicker on and off depending
on whether you have typed a permutation of h-i-l-l-b-a-g If someone types redneck republistank, it automatically is displayed in cyan bold font 25.

Apparently you've been exercising restraint.

Cool story, McSlobber.

Probly because I don't post much about politics, hillary, trump or russia anymore. It's all getting tiresome.:bdh:
We can talk about pizza dough, though.

Do they helidrop that in to you guys? How do you keep it from freezing on the dogsled ride back?

And for every Judith Curry there exist nine other Scientists who disagree with her, but for some reason, well, we do know the reason, you immediately discard the nine and buy into the Judith Currys

"Curry actually believes, along with the vast majority of climate scientists, that humans are warming the planet, and was even an outspoken advocate of the issue during the George W. Bush years. She was among the first to connect global warming to hurricanes, for example, publishing an influential study in Science in 2006. But where she breaks with the majority opinion is over just how much humans are actually causing global temperatures to rise."

This is where we can cue the deniers to wail "But, we always knew that humans contributed to global warming!", which is demonstrably false. See "ClimateGate! follies, among other hilarious denier claims. .

Donald J. Drumpf: "Global warming is a Chinese hoax!"

From your link:
But where she breaks with the majority opinion is over just how much humans are actually causing global temperatures to rise.

Where many scientists say that humans are the primary cause of warming, Curry believes natural forces play a larger role.
She also believes that uncertainty around climate models means we don't have to act so quickly and that current plans would do little to mitigate warming.
Which is where I am. Always have been.

You've "always" known that humans contribute to global warming? I guess I will have to take your word for it, though I have my suspicions.

Anyone who has followed climate science with even a rudimentary interest for the past 30 years, know that deniers have relentlessly kept changing their position. It is a matter of public record. It began with denial that the earth was warming at all. "Urban heat islands" was the deniers favorite explanation in the 1990s. Deniers have goal post moved, modified, back tracked, and revised all their previous positions, which ranged from a global conspiracy of climate scientists intent on faking data and perpetrating a hoax (aka, ClimateGate), to the more recent back track claim that "I always knew humans contribute to global warming, I just have some innocent questions about how much!".
Which sounds suspiciously to me like when a conservative claims "I was always against the Iraq War!"

If you were around in the '80s, you might recall the widespread fear over the discovery of a massive hole in the ozone layer over Antarctica. It's still there, but NASA says 2017 delivered a daintier hole than usual.

The last time the ozone hole was this small was in 1988 when Bobby McFerrin was burning up the charts with "Don't Worry Be Happy" and acid-wash jeans were the height of fashion.

The ozone layer acts as a protective shroud over the Earth, blocking out ultraviolet radiation. NASA likens it to an atmospheric version of sunscreen. Our planet wouldn't be habitable without the ozone layer to help protect us from the sun.

NASA and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have been monitoring the ozone hole since it was first discovered in 1985. The agencies use satellites, weather balloons and ground-based instruments to study and track the hole.

No, I never have. Where did I say that?
See post #193.
As far as your gotcha question, you got me. I'm sure I had no position when I was eight yrs old.
He says the same old crap time after time, it never varies. Judith Curry has changed her mind over the years because of the evidence, or truthfully the lack of evidence. That is called the scientific method and scepticism is an intrinsic part of that. Crypiss is a scientologist not a scientist, I have absolutely no respect for him. I have attempted to get any of these alarmists to respond to post 91, but they are either unwilling or unable to answer, probably both.

Crazy. It's like changing the aerosol spray from clorofluorcarbons made shit better for the upper atmosphere because science. SOOO Fuck you and shit.
Amirite?

According to you we NEED more Nuclear radiation from above ground nuclear tests. Amirite?

Just keeping it 'libertarian' and shit. I mean corporatist trust find baby like, YOU TWO can be a lottery winner from magic past.

Maybe you pay attention to what James Lovelock, who first brought the world's attention to ozone depletion, has to say on climate change alarmism and general hysteria?
