Before. Until. Either way, I used to love to sit at a bar and meander through life's tribulations with strangers. For some reason I don't understand, strangers love starting conversations with me on planes and trains and buses. Since COVID and the Trump era, I prefer not to talk to strangers, especially in places like massive sports arenas. The sheer stupidity required to lay hands on a stranger in such a venue is absolutely beyond me. So you are correct: At the point that they violated my body and my personal space, I finally spoke to them. And that little chat handled things to my contentment within seconds.

Dude, your myopia non-withstanding...you are focusing on why they went into the system.....that doesn't change the fact that once in the system the clock stops between 18-21.....and the links I sourced point to the FACT that there are A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER of kids in the system who age out.
Also, from one of my links that you obviously didn't read: More than 20% of the children who are currently in foster care are aged 3 or younger.
