Abortion Follies: Texas style

Oh puh-leeze! Every blessed time you are faced with FACTS that disprove one of your claim or assertions, you start babbling supposition and conjecture as if they're facts....DESPITE fact based evidence to the contrary.

Now, if you follow your usual pattern, you'll just repeat the latter ad nausea with insipid stubbornness. No matter, as the true contrary information will be there for the rational, objective reader to see.

The OP stands valid....you don't. Carry on.

I am sorry you choose ignorance......but not surprised......I have presented you with facts, you prefer to dodge them.....

I hate to say this- BUT NOT WHEN THEY ARE UGLY!

How many children are waiting to be adopted in the United States? Of the over 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S., 114,556 cannot be returned to their families and are waiting to be adopted.

Can you imagine how many unwanted children would be the result of making abortions illegal. Texas alone had 55,000 abortions that we know about last year!

you keep citing the numbers of children in foster care because their parents are fighting to keep them.......children that have been removed from the family home because of neglect or abuse........if a woman does not want her child there are couples waiting YEARS for a chance to adopt an infant they WANT.......

Just curious, if the idea to stop abortions is because it's murder- why are they allowing abortions or murders under 6 weeks?

Wouldn't you want to eliminate all murders of fetuses- even those under 6 weeks?

Please advise me on what is the logic of this crazy bill?

It seems a little conflicting to their own logic to say the least.

how about the logic of saying we should let you kill them all because we let you kill them for six weeks........personally I think that once a woman knows there is someone to kill it should be illegal to kill them......

Fallacy Fallacy!

LOL. The funny and sad thing about Sybil is that he really believes he's making a difference by this form of behavior. That's how isolated he is from reality.

Exodus 23:13: And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

So...where in there is abortion?
He mean Exodus 21: 22-25 and it’s interesting that the Jews, whose scripture it is, interprets it differently than fundie Christians.

It also says "hurt a woman with child", not "hurt the child":

22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

So Exodus is saying the welfare of the mother is what is most important.

"woman with child" is the direct object of the sentence, not "child".

Exactly, the Jews also believe the child is only viable and has a soul when the head is birthed and the child breathes.

So unless you live under a rock, Texas has recently passed laws that virtually makes abortion impossible for the average citizen. Well, here's whats currently going on in the state that wants to force women victims of rape & incest to bring that pregnancy to term. Yep, they're well prepared for all those unwanted kids::rolleyes:

https://www.literacytexas.org/impac...,to a national average of $11,762 per student.

Liar, they have up to 6 weeks, and the heart beats at 16 days! Brain activity can be detected at 5 weeks, fingerprints at 9 weeks, can smile at 12 weeks! Incest, rape, and medical emergencies add up to about three percent of all abortions, so try again butcher!
