All you Affirmative Action Whiners Can STFU Now

The black community does not share the same suspicion / anger at muslims that is seen in wider American society. The Nation of Islam and their leaders have always been well respected among African-Americans and 9/11 did nothing to change that. The largest muslim community in America sits in and around an 80% black Detroit.
I'll second that. I live in a majority black city (Emeryville) right next to an overwhelmingly black city (Oakland). Muslims in general are readily accepted here.

Oh. I thought you were referring to non-black muslims when you were referring to an increase in muslim attendance.

OOhhhh good comeback. the B word is so original and cutting edge. You really put me in my perverbial place. Good job.

Do you still support raced based preferences? Can you even answer the question without having a mental breakdown?

That's pretty stupid, considering their tendency towards theocratic despotism.

You can make the same inference here that AA whiners b!tch and moan about: and that is less qualified white students are getting picked over black students. Not that AA even does that mind you, but that's what its whiners think it does. You have a system set up to favor diversity. But I have to tell you I'm not surprised, that this simply gets a shrug from the usual suspects.

I'm not sure who the whiners and usual suspects you are referring to are, if they are people on this board or some specific politicians.

I don't get the inference in your article that these are underqualiied white kids taking more qualified black kids spots. Not to say that couldn't be the case but I don't see that as being implied here.

Actually I would argue that AA does often take underqualified underrepresented minorities (Asians don't count, at least in the UC system) over more qualified whites and asians under the idea that diversity is more important and enhances the learning experience for all students. If underrepresented minorities were not underrepresented I don't think there would be a need for AA.

Umm He does not even like Christians much Ornot. If they use the old testament anyway or say Jesus was a Jew.

Now there's a scary thought.

Joking aside, I have no doubt at all but that the FBI and Homeland Insecurity spend a lot of time surveiling the Nation and its offshoots.

Nothing new about that either. Yet, with all the additional scrutiny, they have never uncovered a single plot against this nation or a single act of terrorism.

Time and resources would have been better spent digging into the Tim McVeigh crowd.

The complaint as I understand it against affirmitive action is that qualified students are not getting accepted to schools while lesser qualified students are based on their race

What do you mean "lesser qualified"?

I don't know what college you went to, but admissions aren't strictly based on SAT scores and GPAs. One's whole life experience is generally considered. GPA and SAT don't fully capture the merit of an individual.

I went to the best school in the country Tax and that is USC. USC is private so it doesn't have to deal with the state B.S. about "diversity". But it is in South Central L.A. and it has a great reputation around the neighborhood and the percentage of black students at USC is higher than the percentage of black students in California. USC can do that though.

As far as public schools, when 10k - 15k kids are applying for 3k -4k freshman spaces at UC Berkeley your damn right grades and SAT scores matter. I agree there is more than just grades and that's why I believe there should be some system to help kids who come from low income households regardless of race. But when you have that many students applying for so few spots not many "underqualified" grade and test score wise are going to get itn.

Your bigotry continues to astound. Is there anyone other than white, middle class Christians whom you actually respect?

Usc's right. I don't respect most organized religions. Good is found rarely. Christians are pushing us towards Noahide theocracy too. Did you know that many orthodox rabbis consider islam a noahide compliant religion?

Hummm...

so your accusations calling me a hater were lies ?

Well USC I really don't believe AzzHat hates you...nor do I for that matter...AzzHat just likes to stir the proverbial pot...and I for one respect your opinion on war..ie:VN era et al...as you were there...so you saw it a different way...thats okay...y'all will come ariound once you get past the 'Little' bump in the road that hurt ya...have a great one!

I am past the bump BB. I have my path before me.

AHZ called me and others haters, but now says hate does not exist....
