mm...'Ensign Pulver'.I would agree that "disobeying" a direct order is a serious charge...however I am not privvy to GW's military records nor Lt.Kerry's nor yours...so the comment is a moot point...all we see and read about is the issue of 'hype' portrayed in the media!

Affirmative action really isn't as big as it used to be. Today I really wouldn't expect your race to make a difference in whether or not your accepted - and you can always not list it in any case.

I don't see the same here in your article. Yes it says these colleges are out recruiting white students. Most Universities actively recruit minority students. I didn't see the article say that under qualified white students are taking the place of more qualified black students which, imho, would lead to the same outrage and be more on point with the point you are trying to make.

Just because a university "actively recruits" a certain race in order to better diversify their student body doesn't mean they're actually giving them preference in admission. The black universities apparently want to become normal, non-racial universities, now that the racism is over.

I didn't say actively recruiting minority students equates to giving them preferences in admission so I'm not sure where you are getting that from.

Universities actively recuit qualified minority students to come to their school because they do want diversity. Please notice I said qualified NOT someone who is not qualified and would take the place of a more qualified student.
