And they don’t understand why Kapernick took a knee.

I'll tell you how to stop the obvious racism and the police racist brutality and abuse of WHITE POWER Is to go back to hangings on the square.

When a police officer abuses his authority and is convicted in a jury trial, the officer would be handcuffed and marched out to the square, and hung immediately following the verdict.

Hate crimes need a special kind of punishment!

The punishment needs to be as brutal as the crime itself!

that's getting off too easy. He needs to serve life in prison.

serious question. What makes you think the racism is obvious?

most whites don't think it's all racism.

Cops should no longer be required to patrol black neighborhoods or protect black people from their neighbors.

Hello cawacko,

The difference here might be are people who are incompetent in your field breaking the law? Because by essentially murdering this guy the cops were breaking the law and that goes beyond any internal punishment.

I'll probably get sh*t on for saying this but police officers have a union and unions protect their workers, often even the worst ones. Just like its hard to fire bad teachers I'm sure its not easy firing bad cops. I'm sure many of us would like to see the union hold police officers more accountable but they get paid to defend them and thus reform and changes is very/extremely difficult.

I've never belonged to a union but to me that's your trade-off. Unions protect their workers and that includes the poor/bad ones.

But that is not all unions do.

And it should certainly be noted that all large organizations have issues. Just as the people who comprise them do. That alone is not justification for eliminating large organizations.

Hello Phantasmal,

The cop kept his knee there long after Floyd quit moving. It was excessive force, not natural causes, far from natural causes. When he wasn’t responsive, they could have at least rolled him on his side.

The suspect was already handcuffed. Obviously the cop was using excessive force.

The biggest barrier to police reform are the police unions. And that's coming from many liberal groups. So ultimately it's what you feel is more important, the power of unions or police reforms.

Kaeperdick's motivation was racist.

These cops, especially the one who had his knee on that guy's neck, should be hung.
That said, this shit happens to white people too, it just doesn't get reported. Very few
cops used excessive force when I was younger, I don't know why some have become more
authoritative and arrogant these days.

Damn, you should have saved this load of bullshit for your Victory Over COVID garden.

The reason why cops are seemingly more aggressive these days? Because of idiots like you who think that every citizen should be packing. They have no clue when there's an encounter with a suspect if they're going to get shot. That being said, there is *still* no excuse for excessive violence during an arrest whether the suspect is white, black, purple, or polka-dotted. Racism is still alive and well in America and despite your fiction otherwise, black suspects fare far worse than do whites.

Bullshit. Get a grip on yourself. Idiots like me? I almost never carry a gun unless I'm going hunting or to the range, and those are unloaded in the back of my car in a case or wrapped in a towel. All safe and sound.
I believe I've said there's still no excuse for excessive violence, no matter the races involved. I believe I've also said there is racism and bigotry in this country. You are a perfect example, though you won't admit it.

And the elderly couple who was shot placing flowers at their son's grave in a military cemetery? That lasted for what, a day or two?

The incident that Tom is lying about -- the machete-wielding white college student who is suspected in two murders -- has been on the news every single night now since they started the manhunt for him.

But boo-hoo-hoo only crimes against black ppl get on the news.

Ok I’m telling you this as a professional in a safety related field with a graduate education in human biology. Under no circumstances whatsoever should a police officer (or anyone for that matter) ever, ever kneel and place their weight on someone’s neck. It can permanently cripple them or, as in this case, kill them.

You're correct. Actually, the proper technique is to place the knee between the shoulder blades long enough to restrain him, that's it. If the dirt bag is resisting, sometimes things don't go as planned but this doesn't look like one of those situations. I've had it done to me with no damage(In training. Never been arrested. I'm a good boy)That being said, I still want to know the events leading up to that conclusion, and I want to know how he died.

Why are you replying to me about what Tom said? Did I pinch a nerve somewhere?

I guess whites don't make as big a fuss when other whites are killed, or Hispanics, or Asians, or...

I have H. Moron on ignore but saw the post that you responded to, where he claims that the accused white student who has killed the man with a machete is hardly mentioned on U.S. news. Of course since he's hiding in his wife's basement in Thailand from the king, he really doesn't know jack about what goes on over here. lol

PS -- The accused killer is white, as was his victims.
