I am unsure of your point. I am simply saying I never had an issue getting an ID. But even if I was the dumbest person on the planet and managed to not have issues getting id, are you not now making my point. I for one resent the notion that some are less capable of getting an ID.
I also don't support voter ID laws, but I find the argument from the democrat side on this specious at best.

No, he's not. The problem is more about economic opportunities and access. Skin tone is a very minor part of human genetics. We're all about 99.9% identical. The major differences between us is cultural.
It's one thing to shoot a suspect who is about to stab another, it's another thing to kill a suspect over a period of 9.5 minutes on video.
The solution to Voter ID laws is to provide taxpayer funded IDs to those who don't have them. The downside of that is the requirement for a National ID, which scares the militia assholes even though it's the best way to identify illegal immigrants.
Another problem is that the Republican leadership, and several have admitted this, have deliberately sought to disenfranchise the poor because they tend to vote Democrat. Never mind that it's Republican policies over the past 40 years that have created more poor Americans.
The reason the Republicans are the worst bad guys between the D's and the R's is that rather than raise the income of Americans, thereby creating more conservative voters, the Republicans create more poor and then seek to disenfranchise them by shutting down polling stations in poorer areas and other laws making it difficult for lower income groups to vote. IMO, this is completely antithetical to all American ideals.

Agreed the attack on the Capitol was a power play to keep Trump in power. What I already knew, but admit to taking a big sigh of relief, is that it failed so miserably. Judges do not have to be bought. They are sifted through over a long time to find people who think 'right". They are tracked through college by the Federalist Society and given grades. McConnell was handed a score sheet to pick his judges from. That is better than being paid off. A crook cannot be trusted. A profound believer requires no maintenance.

This has to be over ridden, to do it is simple increase the number of supreme court justice which is 100% legal and then pass a bill limiting the judge number at that amount. Washington should be a state. Stupid not to . Plus make it a law that everyone has to vote and make it even easier then it is now to vote, it should be as simple and all inclusive as possible and have the federal government take over all elections for the house and senate,Which is already in the constitution.
