Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars

I care about everything having to do with peoples abilities to have work opportunities, and to have an affordable home, and being able to support themselves and their families.

I lost my job, when I was laid off because Texas Instruments moved their IT operations from Lewisville & Dallas, Texas- to INDIA!

So I know how they feel.

I think any of the Eastern Division Teams could end up the Champion of the East, and go all the way.

Dallas has as good a shot at it as the other 3 teams!

I want to see the Cowboys win it and go to the Super Bowl!
You mean you didn't want to move to India? :whoa:

Here is a thought, since you love walls and border security, and all that stuff!

Just think, you could have supported Nikita Khrushchev, and he would have let you help him build his Berllin Wall!

See those soldiers over on the Russian side of the wall?

If anyone on either side of the wall, tried to climb that wall, those soldiers would machine gun them down.

Is that the kind of immigration policy you want here in America? A wall and Jack booted soldiers with machine guns to shoot anyone who crosses over in either direction?

THANKS!

Why do you not support securing our border from illegals and drug traffickers?

Thanks.

What does that have to do with Biden nixing the Keystone pipeline and costing thousands of jobs?
All those old viaducts need to be fixed. We don't fix ours on the west coast until after the fact of an earthquake. They never stop painting the Gate. It's worked on all year. Good paying jobs.

Bugger the viaducts, what about the topic at hand namely Keystone XL?

There's no question that repairing or replacing deteriorated bridges are good paying jobs. Who's arguing that point?

The topic is the fact that Biden nixed a pipeline that is safer than other means of transportation of oil from Canada
and it cost thousands of good paying jobs.

I went to North Dakota looking for a Keystone pipeline job. It's too fucking cold. I had to work outside when it was -12 degrees for 5 days straight. Go build your pipeline.

The Keystone XL goes right over the Ogallala Aquifer. That's not what I call safe.

Cost effective translates to the Ogallala Aquifer gets polluted with tar sands and no one cares.

So you're saying something that isn't even built already leaks? A little projection, no?

From the internet.
The Keystone Pipeline has been shut down following a leak discovered near the border of Kansas and Nebraska. Dec 9, 2022
-----------------------------------

They all leak but we're not told about it until a bunch of people start dying from cancer. Ask me how I know.

Hmm...

"1. The slope of the regional water table is from west to east; the deep waters within the host rocks move persistently downhill eastward. Approximately 80 percent of the Ogallala Aquifer lies to the west of the proposed alignment, “uphill” of the pipeline’s route. Spilled oil could not move upward against gravity."
