Exactly. Let's say that K. is confirmed, and as time goes on, more and more events are not uncovered similar to the ones he's being accused of currently. Eventually impeachment will be dismissed. The DNCs will suffer a lot more damage from that than if they continue agree to act like this.

But then again you can't count out the current dim front runner for pres. in '20 and porn queen lawyer Avenatti will come up with proof that Kav was a serial rapist in Jr. High School.

I don't know if he is or not, but I think that Dr. Ford is credible and totally believable. The others? Who knows, since the GOP is going to ram this flawed nomination down our collective throats w/o giving the others a chance to be heard as well. Sorry, but "statements under perjury" are NOT the same as being questioned as Dr. Ford was. Let's hear from Mark Judge, Ms. Ramirez, and Ms. Swetnick.... if your guy is so innocent.

I actually believe that she believes what she said happened. I also happen to believe Kav believes what he says. The truth is somewhere in between.
For example it's possible that Ford has histrionic personality disorder which would make her highly exaggerate (drama queen syndrome). Not saying she does, but it's a possibility. It's possible Kav had a blackout, started drinking the morning of the party and doesn't even remember being there, much less the incident. Truth is, we'll never ever know, even with an FBI investigation, even with a special prosecutor with unlimited funds and no deadline. It was too long ago and facts get really hazy over time.

Decorum in politics is long gone. If Kav is sworn in it's because "elections have consequences". This is the last thing the repubs will have to ram anything down our throats for a while. Historically the dims are due to win back at least the House or Senate. Dims were able to ram Obamacare down our throats without any input from republicans. It is was it is.

Too little too late. The ploy from the beginning was to either drag this out until after the midterms or damage the repubs. The first won't happen and the second could backfire like it did with BJ. Judging by the comments section I see on every article I've read on this charade, pro Kav and anti Ford is about 99 - 1.
