They didn't give a shit about giving the process time or getting to the facts. That would not have played a role in their plans. They waited until the very last minute and then believed that if they trot out enough liars no matter how ludicrous and incredible the claims, claims that only the mentally incapacitated can believe, they could establish a false narrative and pattern and delay the vote until it better suited them.
