You do have a point! Well about the fashion sense anyway. But I still refuse to iron my jeans. (I kid you not, some people here actually press a crease into their blue jeans!) Good thing we have satellite and I can watch "What Not to Wear" on Friday nights! Whew!

As for the mental health aspect, we're a little bit buffered as we're in an academic community, comprised almost entirely of transplants.

A photography friend of mine recently went on holiday and said, when he came back and we asked where he'd been, "Oh we went all over the world! Colorado, North Carolina, Oklahoma, ..." Shudder.
