Since you left parts out of your definition, you're not completely accurate.

I was accurate in my original statement. That I am prohibited from peacefully smoking cannabis.

No one is preventing you from growing it. You're whining because someone might say something to you about it.

I'm 'whining' because I might go to prison for it. You buffoon.

That you think I'm a fiscal Liberal proves what you've been smoking is harming you. Keep smoking it. Maybe it will do you in.

You are a fiscal liberal though. You're way too liberal with fiscal budgets. You want people thrown in jail for soft drugs like weed, prostitution, and probably a whole host of other victimless shit as well. We taxpayers have to pay for that. That money comes from somewhere, it does not grow on trees. You believe in using taxpayer money to fund your personal affronts. You're a fiscal liberal, and support big government despite claiming to be against that. And I'm wishy washy? Lol.

Not to mention you're wasting law enforcement's time with all of that bullshit. Most of them, to the tune of 2/3rds of them, think it should be legal and don't want to waste their time enforcing it, but they must as per their job. Which people like you help keep that way.

Trippy, I was putting my safety on the line arguing for the legalization of weed way before it was popular...and way before it was as safe doing so as it is now.

One doesn't have to be a libertarian to advocate for that...and advocating for the decriminalization of weed doesn't require becoming a libertarian.

I consider American conservatism to be a cancer on the American body politic...and have even less regard for Libertarianism. Both are weak excuses for political naivete'.

To each his own what they support. I'm not familiar with your positions but am always interested in hearing people's opinions. What is it about conservatism that you feel to be a cancer?

Here's a link to an op ed sized piece I wrote for the NY Times...back in 1989.

Never said supporting legalization makes you a libertarian. We are not even talking about ideological libertarianism at all. Not even saying that supporting legalization makes you a civil libertarian, just that legalization is one cause of civil libertarians. It is the rest as a whole that make one a civil libertarian.

This is why I hate labels. It becomes a fight over what labels mean what, not the ideas themselves.

That really is the truth and unfortunately I know I fall victim to it myself.

Not if you left out part of the whole definition.

Going to prison would be the result of you making certain choices. If you truly believed what you say you do, stand up for it. If going to prison gets you the result you want, isn't is worth the price for reaching that result. Sounds to me like you want the result without putting for any of the effort.

Since there is no such thing as a victimless crime, that destroys your argument about me being a fiscal liberal.

You're wishy washy. You want results because you whine and won't put forth the necessary effort fighting for the cause. I've noticed that with pothead.

I should not go to prison for smoking a joint. Case closed. You are running around in mental circles, deflecting away from that basic fact. Admit it. Potheads, however much you hate them, don't belong in prison. And the basic fact that you want to waste billions of dollars of taxpayer money on a failed drug war.

Nah, you're definitely a fiscal liberal. Why do you support wasting billions and billions of dollars of money that is not yours?

You're wishy washy. You want results because you whine and won't put forth the necessary effort fighting for the cause. I've noticed that with pothead.

I'd say doubling back on supposed deeply held convictions is pretty wishy washy. Like claiming support for fiscal restraint and limited government, and then turning around and supporting the drug war.

You ARE wishy washy because you go back and forth.

You can't win with a losing game plan.

You mean like claiming support for fiscal restraint and limited government, then turning around and shitting on those ideals in the next moment? Because of your personal beef with people who smoke weed?

Again, not the judge.

Where did I say I support the drug war? I support if they catch you doing something, put your ass if jail. I didn't say come looking for you. Big difference.

You're not the judge so you don't get to decide the case, boy.

You mean like saying you do it only in your home then admit you drive on the public roads with it in your car. Doing it, doesn't mean only smoking it. In order to smoke it, you have to get it where you smoke it and that's as much doing it as lighting up. By your own admission, you have to get it to smoke it and it you didn't get it you couldn't do it. Those two things are exclusive of one another.

You're not the judge so you don't get to decide the case, boy.

Keep deflecting. :good4u:

You are a hypocrite for supporting fiscal restraint and limited government, then not supporting those ideals when it's inconvenient for you. This is a fact.

Not my fault you can't accept you're not the judge. I don't recall the defendant being able to decide the punishment after being convicted. Do you?

More mental circles to deflect. I'm sorry that laws you support drive me to find it elsewhere. When I would otherwise be growing it in my home, keeping it in my home, and smoking it in my home.

Want to get back to the issue of you being a fiscal liberal that has no regard for peoples' tax dollars?

Not my fault you can't accept when you're being hypocritical. Just admit you support bloated government budgets, overcrowded prisons, and big government, stop deflecting from it. Is intellectual honesty hard for you?

Way to not address my comments, loser. Can you explain why the Repubs control both houses of Congress and the presidency, if we are such a liberal country?

Because we are a liberal country until the time to assign blame comes, then it's a conservative country run by Republicans and it's all their fault.

Rinse and repeat for the opposite. We are a conservative nation with conservative values and Republican leaders until the time to assign blame comes, then Democrats and "liberal lunacy" is destroying America.

Partisan politics. That's how you explain that.
