Anyhow, my point is that feigning outrage to Dano's moniker by making the assumtion and drawing the conclusion that it is somehow racist, ie, a hatepiece against Black America, and an assault on someone's charachter, to me is beyond stupid. Its self fulfilling shit.

This preemptive strike against anyone daring to point out that what Dano did is racist, and to claim that assuming that BLACKFACE IS ABOUT FUCKING RACE, is "beyond stupid" makes you look beyond stupid.

Beefy, you appear to be unaware that history and context of "blackface" is considered to be racist. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's a youtube video of six white teenagers dressing up in "blackface" to "reenact" the jena 6 incident. Its clear they're mocking the black kids. They even went on to subsequently apologize for their blackface video.

I honestly had not caught it.

To me BAC's avatar looks more like a Black Panther, the cat not one of the gang members. The white circle where the mouth and nose should be didn't register as black face. Ever since I saw it, I have been trying to figure out what the black hole was supposed to represent. Now that I know, I don't find it humorous at all, not that it ever did, but now I find it tactless.

If I had done that (it would have been an innocent mistake) I would now be apologizing to BAC and LadyT profusely.

Darla, withold judgement. I asked BAC what race had to do with him beating Dano at an argument. That's the context.

Secondly, I didn't know that Dano's moniker actually was a mock "blackface", even in this thread. Wise Guy goes the distance sometimes, and I didn't think that was what it was.

That being said, I don't embrace racism or its cohorts, I would have hoped you knew better of me.
