How do you defend a psychopath, there are many in society, many succeed in their work or business, certainly Trump as proven he can rise to the top even with his business failure and bankruptcies. Every day he lies etc etc etc, but his fans hear what they want to hear as they see in him a leader as they would be reluctant in public to say what he says. Most humans have a sense of morality and ethics, psychopaths do too but theirs is about themselves and not others. Empathy isn't part of their make-up. I think one more trouble with Trump is his racism and his fascist advisers, Miller Barr and Parscale make him worse as they appear to lack a moral base.

It's not the meeting that anyone is upset about. It's the blatantly hypocritical photo that set people off. Of course, your TDS won't let you even consider any of that.

You are sadly right. I've posted at least a dozen times on this thread that no one cares that there was a meeting between the survivors of that family and the Toadstools, or that the uncle claims to be a Trump supporter and that his late brother was as well. What is reprehensible about the event was that he thought it was going to be a private meeting between him, the child, and POTUS/FLOTUS. But then the First Strumpet posted the group photo of them smirking and the thumbs-up on her official Twitter account -- and people erupted with righteous outrage. They are foul and filthy ppl who will do anything for PR and possess not a shred of class, empathy, or awareness of how shitty they appear to others.

BTW, the other obvious thing that totally escapes the Trumpanzees is that Trump arranged this meeting. There's no way the uncle called him up and said "Hey, my brother and sister-in-law are dead in the massacre, would it be cool if I brought their baby and had a photo op with you?" Trump's aides contacted him. They were desperate because none of the other victims' families wanted anything to do with them.
