Defend This

Weep for the children and continue to do nothing to help them.
Cry for our country and continue to do nothing to help it.
Your screaming and incessant whining is doing Nothing...just more of the same vile, predictable, pretty boring noise....
Thankfully there are more of us than there are of you....

What have you done for them?

You are sadly right. I've posted at least a dozen times on this thread that no one cares that there was a meeting between the survivors of that family and the Toadstools, or that the uncle claims to be a Trump supporter and that his late brother was as well. What is reprehensible about the event was that he thought it was going to be a private meeting between him, the child, and POTUS/FLOTUS. But then the First Strumpet posted the group photo of them smirking and the thumbs-up on her official Twitter account -- and people erupted with righteous outrage. They are foul and filthy ppl who will do anything for PR and possess not a shred of class, empathy, or awareness of how shitty they appear to others.

BTW, the other obvious thing that totally escapes the Trumpanzees is that Trump arranged this meeting. There's no way the uncle called him up and said "Hey, my brother and sister-in-law are dead in the massacre, would it be cool if I brought their baby and had a photo op with you?" Trump's aides contacted him. They were desperate because none of the other victims' families wanted anything to do with them.

^ Truth. It must have been too nuanced for them whereas it was obvious to us.

It took about 30 seconds to show Owl's blatant dishonesty. The pic of Obama is with a hurricane Sandy survivor, not a shooting survivor. Oopsy.

I wouldn't be surprised if none of the other pics were after shootings either.

Her post does not say they are pictures with shooting survivors.
My take away is that those photos are meant to show a president capable of genuine empathy, and good social etiquette.

Which is exactly what we do not have now.

I am going to take your claim that Owl was willfully lying to be nothing more than guesswork, false allegation, and unsubstantiated assertion on your part.

Maybe because the baby survived... And the dad is a hero. Sheesh, the brother does not even believe as you.
Your hatred has blinded you.

Your post makes no sense but that's typical. The mother is also a hero, idiot. She fell on her child and covered him with her body to save his life. That's where he was found -- under his dead mother. And no, I do not believe in the Cult of Trump. I also do not believe in pigs who use survivors as smirking, grinning props to show how "compassionate" they are.

What have you done for them?

Nothing, other than play a fake teacher on the Internet, and lecture others on how to be righteous while sitting at home pretending. I'm gifted to be surrounded by real teachers, both retired and active.... and I've never heard a single one refer to her students as "thugs." Also, every single one uses proper spelling, grammar, and syntax and does not sprinkle her/his Internet typings with :)s and ;)s and other childish crap. They also to a woman/man *always* advocate understanding, compassion, and caring. Toxic -- not so much at all.

You take it just right, and that's what that photo montage is meant to convey. The ones screaming about it the most know the truth of it.

Well, he is right. I only remember one major school shooting during the Clinton years. And that one wasn't a random nut shooting a place up. It was a student full of hatred for schoolmates. I don't remember but I think he committed suicide as well. I'd rather not look into such terrible things to make sure. It was such an unheard-of occurrence.

W didn't have too many to tend to either in the beginning. The whole country was focused on war. I wouldn't doubt that the aftershocks of war were a starting factor as well. Division, hate, war, gun access, lobbying, and propaganda all contributed to this continued tragedy the right brushes off. In fact, when the idea something had to be done gun restriction only seemed to lessen and these shooting slowly increased. Now they are commonplace.

Yes, it was. And you know what? That would have been okay -- the Trump campaign (because it's always campaign with that crowd) reaching out to find a survivor willing to be comforted and meet with the First Shucksters. What the oblivious uncle didn't realize is that it would be turned into a campaign photo-op. I'm quite sure that his heart was good and that he felt that he was doing the right thing to honor his dead brother, and also what an honor to meet privately with POTUS. I bet that he did not expect that the meet-and-greet would be turned into a sickening exploitation of him and his family.

That must have been Columbine that you remember. You're the same age as my youngest child.

You would think that such an advocate for children and animals would show us peons how to help, instead of delivering a passive-aggressive scolding.
