Democrats Smoke and Mirrors – They wont stop the war

Yep, I was just backing up your arguement, saying he didn't have to vote for Kerry either if he didn't like him. He still voted for Bush even with the option to pick someone who more closely represents him, unless Bush was the best representative for him. Too many people are easily duped into the 'He'll never win' arguement when they are getting ready to vote and decide to vote for a popular candidate to try and get the lesser of two evils. Then it comes back to bite them in the ass when that fuckin' candidate they voted for pulls the shit they do.

Which is why we are stuck with a two party system in which both parties could care less about anything other than their party and getting elected or re-elected. They pit the country against each other and con half of it into believing it really is just the other party that is evil.

Money is not free speech. Until we learn this lesson we are at the mercy of the Republicrats.

And if nominated, he'll win the general by a larger margin than any other democrat. And you will have to say President Gore! I can't wait!

Um.... I can.

Side note... he can win by a larger margin than any other Dem frontrunner. Richardson would beat his margin if given a chance. Clark would crush all if he decided to run (and yes, I know the odds of that are nil)

What also is getting lost in this is whose bill was it that is urging war with Iran?

Joe Lieberman

Exactly how much shame should democrats be feeling at the very mention of that name?

That's the son-of-a-bitch that DEMOCRATS almost put one heartbeat or a Mossad bullet away from being the President.

Joe Lieberman

Al Gore is smart? Who told you that bullshit?

Joe Lieberman

Whose alligence to Israel far outweighs any alligence to you.

Did somebody say that Columbia was a "liberal" bastion of higher "learning?" Who told you that bullshit?

The President of Iran might have got a better reception if he had spoke at Oral Roberts. Bolinger and the students at Columbia provided the democrats with all the cover they needed. None of them listened to the undeniable truth in much of what Ahmadinejad had to say. BUT .. if Bush attacks Iran and it turns out to be the disaster planet earth and HISTORY knows it will be, you'll have student protests at Columbia and Bolinger will make grandiose statements about how this is all Bush's fault.

Barak Obama talks about the "Audacity of Hope", but he has yet to exhibit the audacity of courage.

Democrats also passed a bill yesterday seperating Iraq into 3 areas.

Americans .. voting on how IRAQ should be divided ???? .. and Joe Biden wants to be president

People just need to grow some balls, not just the politicians in Washington, but the people voting for them. They need to realize that the only way to make policy better is to vote for people that are going to make policy better, not just 'not as bad as that other guy'. Where is the heart for your country when you can enable it to be tore to shreds, with the excuse that it's not as quickly as what someone else can do it.

Any way they can! If it means cutting off funds to force a withdrawal, then do it. Republicans can mock you and call you names all they want, but the American people who want us out of Iraq will thank you! The Republicans have already lost all merit and no one really gives a damn what they have to say. Which is why I'm after the Dems on this, because they are the ones that are going to have to do something.

Even if it means leaving thousands of American troops to die in Iraq as the funding dries up?

I'm not sure about the Biden plan. What if it saves a lot of lives? Do you think that's possible?

I agree. Unfortunately too many people have been brainwashed by one of the two parties and are of the mindset that voting for a third party candidate is a "waste of your vote". I will have no problem voting third party in 2008.... especially for President, because as of now, there are no good leaders among the frontrunners. Unless a Richardson or Hagel pull off a miracle, then third party it is.

Funny, I was just about to respond to him letting him know that is simply a Dem excuse.

LOL, all sorts of finger pointing....

Time for people to drop their party tag again just like after 9/11, when everyone came together as Americans and that is what we were. Everyone here except for maybe 1 or 2 are anti-war, time to stop bitching with each other and do something. We all know we need to get out of Iraq, and we know we can't be going after Iran now either. It's time to take action....

It isn't possible, it isn't logical, it's against international law, and denigrates the Iraqi people and their own sovereignty. Are we looking to create another Palestine?

How about we get out of their country and let them figure it out .. which would have already taken place if we weren't there. In many cases we are fighting against the nationalists who want to form a new Iraq with participation from all sides.

Biden is thinking about the oil.

I don't know bac, because there is a part of me that still feels we destroyed their country, and if we could put it back together, obviously Palestine not being what I had in mind though. I've been wondering what opinions are on that, no one has mentioned it. Probably because it happened on the same day they authorized a war on Iran.
