No matter what crock of shit you load us with, Chap, if someone makes 150,000 a year they are way upper class and I won't lose sleep over the fat bastards being taxed.

Yeah I expect to gross close to 1/4 mill this year....
Between , salary and my "investments", and my business I bought half interest in.
I am not whining about the taxes though...

I do not consider myself upper class though. I still go bowling a few times a year :D

Right, they should lower it to $40k, $50k for a married couple. That would serve the same purpose and raise a hell of a lot more money. Come to think of it, why not $30/$35k? Now we got more than 50% giving their "fair share."

This is a lie from what I saw, they are not giving anything to manufacturing corps, instead manufacturing companies are taxed at a slightly lower rate and they would end that.

Saying they are "giving" them something or calling it corporate welfare is complete and total bullshit. They are not getting anything - they are just giving less to government.

The better thing to do would be to LOWER all the other business tax rates to the level of manufacturing companies.

I'm actually surprised the Dems proposed this anyway, lefties were forever railing against manufacturing jobs leaving the country and the need to "help" more there. I doubt Rangel will get this even past his own party once the unions push their influence.

Are you stupid? Corporations paying a "reduced" rate of 32% are obviously still paying far more than they get back if they get back anything, most don't.

Medicare is for retired seniors who pay next to nothing in tax, obviously they are getting far more than they are paying.

I have to wonder at the salaries of some of you folks. You think that taxing those making 150K or more will make a significant impact on the voting public? Exactly what percent of the voting public do you think makes 150K or more?

Some of you may like to inflate your earnings for whatever reason, but I can tell you this...the overwhelming majority of the voting publix makes a FRACTION of 150K.

Grow up.

In my area I think about 35k is the median household income.
I think the median income nationwide is maybe 50K or so.
