At my company in my department i make the least amount of anyone. they are all over the limit.. and they drive average cars and live in average houses and take average vacations.

when your 50years old with 2 or 3 kids going to college and live in MA go ahead and tell me that 150K is rich.

Do you understand the tax system?

A person would not actually be paying the entire 150K at that aggregious 4% higher rate. They will be paying an extra 4% on income above 150K. (HOW WILL THEY FEED THE CHILDREN? WE LAZY PEOPLE IN THE SOUTH DO IT FOR A RICH 40K A YEAR OR SO, BUT CERTAINLY YOU MUST BE SUFFERING, AT THAT SLAVES RATION OF 150K A YEAR. THE AVERAGE AMERICAN MAKES 300K A YEAR, FOR CHRISTSAKE. EITHER THAT OR 1/10TH OF THAT...).

I Make big money too LadyT, but I am not whining about this.

a person making 150K can afford to pay 4% more much easier than someone making 40K.
Higher taxes to pay for our crappy govts spending spree is inevitable.
