You know I never could figure it out why people find it relaxing to spend exorbitant amounts of money on a vacation....

Hmmm... With that and the local taxes you drop their income to about 80K per year, this doesn't count your property taxes, or your sales taxes....

I wouldn't call that "rich" by any stretch in most large urban areas of the nation.
 
In America, our taxes are actually just about flat. The top 50% own 98% of the wealth, they pay 98%, the bottom 50% owns 2%, and they pay 2%.
