Dems new tax scheme

Not sure if anyone believe's USGED makes "big money"
//

Same can be said about you spinner.
I really don't care what you or other net avitars think. People around here know and I am nice and comfortable, that is what matters.

In most parts of the country, you could live in a McMansion with a family income of 200K.

Plain and simple, 200K puts you in the top 5%.

In my parts that is not the case. A household earning $200K isn't doing bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd call that comfortable. Not rich.

think about something else here. Im 33years old. I have never been offered a pension. I wont get social security till im prob 70 if at all. All i will have is my investments to live off. No 4 leg stools. 1.5legs

So off the top i got to stock 10-15% away.
Then i live in a state. 5% income tax
6000 of local taxes
federal tax, ss tax, medicare tax
AMT
then i have to pay for benefits.
Also my house didnt cost 80K. i purchased in 2002. And its an average 2500sf home.
Saving for kids college... when he is 18 on this pace school will be like 70 or 80K per year

It adds up quick man.. yah maybe i dont scrounge for money.. but i also work my ass off... hit up the 500K plus crowd. why u got to target 150K. thats rediculous.

maybe you all don't realize that the starting salary out of college in MA for a general business degree or any mediocre major is up over 50k.

these are 22yo kids living in rat hole apartments driving old cars and eating easy mac.

its allot different then making 50K in Kansas.

yeah.

I'm with Chap on this one. The crowd in $150 zone kinda gets screwed. They are asked to fund a lot of social programs but don't get to partake in them.

I read an article on this very phenomena a couple of months ago. And think that family was in the midwest.

im telling them all. you target 150.. you will not win the white house. dump rangel. go back to supporting middle class.

taxes on 150,000 will never get passed.
the one on hedge fund managers should but the cons are really advancing the ball way to far with getting away with calling that class warfare.

According to what I posted on here tax cuts to hedge fund managers just about equaled the cost of SCHIPS....
And those cuts only benefited a few thousand...

The middle class is the whiniest and most selfish out of all the classes. But people who make 150K a year are not middle class. I'm sure it won't break the bank to pay 39% on income above 150K.

100K a year income

We stock 15% away. Then social security. Then federal.
Then we pay 5% income tax, and 7% sales tax
I've got college too. I just happen to be smart enough to get a scholarship. And even if he went to Harvard it wouldn't be 80K a year.

It adds up quick man. Stop taking vacations to Aruba, maybe you'll find some extra income.

Poor babies. Maybe only one vacation to Aruba a year... can't even take two caribbean vacations in a single year! OH HOW ABUSED!
