DEUTSCHLAND!!!!

Dude the 5th Down allowed them to score a field goal and win the game. That year CU shared a championship...
Well yea that was a game decider. You're missing my point. Maradona's hand ball wasn't a game decider. There was nearly 40 minutes left to go in the match. England had plenty of time to come back and win but they choked.

Maybe it is just us who think the Argies are cheats?

World Cup 2010: Italy, Argentina and Portugal most likely to cheat, says academic research
An academic survey of fans from across the world has found the three nations most likely to cheat at the World Cup.

Academics at the University of Sheffield questioned football fans from the 32 competing countries and found that 75% of people believe certain nations are more likely to cheat than others.

Italy were rated as the team most likely to cheat at the World Cup finals, while Diego Maradona's Argentina came in second place, with Portugal third.

Countries such as Denmark, Switzerland and the USA were among those viewed as the fairest teams, while just 1% of supporters felt that England would cheat in the tournament.

Italians don't cheat because they're sinister, they do it because they're lazy. Everyone else that does it repeatedly, yeah. Then again, the French are bastards who run around headbutting people and handing the ball, so they should be ranked high on the list...

After 45 minutes, Germany 1 Argentina zip, zero, zilch nada, nil, nothing. But the last 15 minutes were nerve wracking. Germany let the Argies get close way too many times. That and Mueller is out in the Semis if the Germans make it because of a clearly accidental hand ball that drew a yellow card.

Four- Nil, eh?

Even England managed to score 1 (possibly 2) against the Germanians and we were shite.

A heartfelt "well done" to those terrific Teutons.

And a massive "Fuck You" to the morose Maradonnas.

Bad news for the Germans.
