What do you call opposition to detainment? How is that not support for open borders? If you support a policy stance that makes it very hard to screen immigrants and to deport those who have their asylum requests rejected, that is open borders whether you want to admit it or not.

As if the 1st Amendment has anything to do with Christians declaring it's a Christian Nation just as the 1st Amendment having any anything to do with when Congress starts any meeting with a prayer or when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance; where it states it's one nation under God & nothing about how Christians cognitive dissonance holds the cross higher than the flag.

Nope, that is not open borders. it is tough to judge all asylum cases, but that is what we profess we will do. But is no way is that open borders. The Dems and Repub admins have put up fencing and walls over time. That is merely the opposite of open borders.
