Nope. Monopolies self destruct. All it takes is for some individual to start a company that provides the same or better product for cheaper. It won't be long before someone comes around to that monopoly and shoots its kneecaps off. Examples abound in this. Dow chemical breaking into the bromine market in Europe, then dominated by a monopoly there. Microsoft, Apple, AMD, Intel, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, etc. destroying the IBM monopoly. Linux, Google, and Amazon is even now destroying the Microsoft monopoly. Bing, DuckDuckGo and others are destroying the Google monopoly. YouTube now has several competitors.

Big corps are not necessarily bad. That idea is a lie, perpetuated by socialists spreading their message of Marxism. US Steel brought the price of steel down in the United States to ridiculously low levels. Now steel is quite commonplace. Gasoline and other oil products are CHEAP right now. We are practically awash in oil. The cost of computers has become so cheap that many homes have not one, but even a dozen computers. Even cars have a dozen or so in them...and they are getting cheaper. Many of these use chips from Intel, AMD, or Broadcom...all big corporations.

Monopolies often turn into dinosaurs that can't maneuver fast enough in the market when some little competitor comes along. Boeing is currently a monopoly in the United States for large aircraft. They are vulnerable.
