Does a explicit gay scene in the media affects you in a bad way?

I have a great idea on how to stop you from sniveling like a little bitch you are. Instead of "hatred" (No clue why you are triggered about it), replace it with "self-hate" or "self-loathing".

Now stop crying.

LOL!!!

You're the one crying, you whiny little prick.

You said there was nothing about "hate" in your post.

There was.

You wrote it.

Don't get pissy with me just because you're too fucking stupid to remember what you wrote. I'm not "triggered" about it at all. I just don't like liars...

Nope. There is nothing about the hatred for homosexual people.

"There is nothing in my OP about hating gay people."

"yep one of the sources of guilt, hatred, disgust, feeling sick, sinful, wanting to eliminate them (in this context, the source of the feelings), and so on."

LOL!!
Yeah, nothing about hate.

Fuckin' dimwit...

Yes, correct. It does not say "hatred of gay people". You're putting words in my mouth.

I didn't.

You were talking about something you saw with gays in it, and then you say you reacted the same way that people raised in fundamentalist Christian homes would react to seeing something with two gays.

I never said a word about "hate" and "gays". You did...

Correct. It is clear you do not understand child abuse. Your posts here clearly prove that.

Those emotions and feelings are common in child abuse victims. When something triggers them, they have flashbacks and hyper emotions associated with their traumatic experiences.

They are now working gay couples into virtually every series on t.v.. My GF and I laugh whenever two guys are making out during a show. I don't care about their sexuality, but watching dudes kiss romantically kind of makes us laugh. In an 'eeewww' kind of way.

But...there's someone for everyone. Some people like skinny/heavy mates, and if you like the former you don't understand the attraction to the latter.

We don't judge, but it's still a little odd right now.

Which is why it’s done

Freedom for gay people and desensitization for non gay people

My son was introduced to the idea of gay people at around five

We had some neighbors who were gay

They were great people who we interacted with on a daily basis

Over for dinner

He played with their dogs and cats

He adored them

One day I told them that these two friends loved each other like me and his dad loved each other

That they were a couple just like me and his dad

He looked at me and said “really?”

I said yes

And that was it

That’s just how big a deal it was to him

It changed nothing in his mind

In middle school he did end up fighting three kids in the park because at school he was friends with a kid who came out as gay

He was at the park next to school after it let out

Three of the asshole kids who had been attacking the kids approached him and started to call him gay for having a gay friend

He one by one punched them out and left them all lying on the ground crying

Those kids never bothered him again

You injected the hate

There was no hate mentioned

It came from inside your head dude

True. I've never abused a child.

You seem to have some experience with it, though...

You admitted to being one of those as opposed to the woke cow you virtue signaler you like to think you are.

Did you write that completely sober? I understand the words and the attempted insults, but not sure about the meaning of the sentence.

Although I'm far from innocent of doing it myself, this thread had wandered off course.

Do explicit public demonstration of gay affection make us feel uncomfortable?

I'm somewhat curious about how many of us feel.

They DO make me feel a little uncomfortable, but I don't believe that any of us have the right to feel totally comfortable all of the time.

You can blame the title on my drunkenness. I didn't mean to say explicit. It was just an innocent commercial of two gay men riding a bicycle together.

I've seen that and similar commercials. They do make me a little uncomfortable, but that's on me.
I don't understand homosexuality, but I don't have to understand it. I have no ill will toward the LBGT community.

It doesn't make us uncomfortable any more than watching sex with one of those women on those shows about weighing 600 lbs. would.

Because we aren't attracted to anyone of our sex, it just isn't stimulating to us. Because they're trying to make mainstream America come around to the fact that it's normal, they seem to interject the issue of sexuality into a show where it isn't necessary for the story line.

LOL. Title didn't really get me, but some of the early discussion had me scratching my head.

Especially since I too was dipping into a little of the nectar yesterday.

Now that you mention it...I was indeed addressing the explicit kissing/sex scenes in my early posts, and you were telling me that it wasn't what you were talking about. At least we figured it out!

Having gay characters doesn't affect me in the least. It's the aforementioned 'explicit' scenes that make us wonder.

I think it was Matlock I was watching, I am sure of it. So I guess the gay men love the show?
