The Republican Party

Nations and empires die too... Every one of them. Just like people...

Agreed. So it's not so silly to say parties are dying after all. ;)

Do you think the Republican Party is hurting itself by supporting "the Big Lie"? By refusing to admit that some of their own party are connected to the violence of 1/6?

These frickin' trials are going to drag out over the next few years. I can't see how they are doing anything but helping the Democrats and hurting the Republicans. So why are the Republicans letting that happen?

I do not think the republican party is "dying" at this moment. Now ask me again if Trump is the candidate in 2024, because I may think differently at that point. He's already shown he can lose to someone most folks think has cognitive issues (yeah I know leftists don't think so, but most folks do)... he simply will not win. If they bring back Trump then I will believe it is a sign of the beginning of the fall of that party.

Now, if they bring him back and he wins? I may believe that it is the end of the republic.

Ooooh, the irony. If I had a dollar for every time someone said the United States is dying, I'd buy the house a round.

I❤Irony

given the last 6 years, the 2016 election, aftermath, 2020 election, aftermath, and now covid finger pointing........if you can't see the permanent division, you are just too fucking blind to see anything

The next couple years will certainly be telling. It's like watching an airshow act where a pilot flies death-defying stunts and the crowd wonders if he'll pull out in time.

People have choices and it's always interesting to me on what choices people make. We all make mistakes and we all make bad choices. It's those who learn from their mistakes and those who don't that is a fascinating dividing line to me.

I've made several posts and you often overlook some and focus upon others.

Two points define a line and three points a trend. Your trend is to attack on certain subjects, such as this one, and overlook other posts. Sure, not "always", but certainly "most often".

Your choice to make, but it's always a point of curiosity to me why people lean so hard in one direction, regardless of other options. My best guess is fear as a motivator for such behavior. Fear happens, but too much and some mammals freeze up. I've seen it happen.

Cliche fallacies. No apparent coherency.

The so-called republican party at conspiring to cause a default on the national debt that would be a disaster area for the entire global economy because as a result of America defaulting on its debt can create a terrible conflict with global interests that depend on being paid. Yet these un American, seditious and insurrectionist repukes at being paid on the taxpayer dime while waging war against the taxpayer and violating their squalid oaths with U.S. Constitutional law, in particular, that all debts be paid without question, deserve to rot in prison and then rot in hell. There is also a abundance of legal justification for it to happen. Repukes want to wage war on America and humanity, then repukes should be treated as a imminent wartime threat and dealt with as such which is in compliance with U.S. Constitutional law too.

It is very concerning that the right hates the democracy part of the US
The US never was a democracy.
They teach their kids to hate the word democracy
They should. So do I. A democracy has no constitution and no representatives. It is an unstable form of government that most often dissolves into dictatorship or oligarchy.
What else can we think but that the right doesnt want people voting
You are describing Democrats.
But you want big guns and lots of ammo
None of your business.
And you cheat in elections at a bat shit crazy rate
You are describing Democrats again.
What’s your plan guys?
Expose you losers for what you are. Re-establish the republic, and vote in people willing to stand up for the Constitution of the United States and not discard like the Democrats (and you) do.

It's not a lie. You can't make the evidence disappear by wishing, dude.
By refusing to admit that some of their own party are connected to the violence of 1/6?
None. Antifa and BLM are not republicans or conservatives or supported by Trump.
I can't see how they are doing anything but helping the Democrats and hurting the Republicans.
They are not supported by Trump.
So why are the Republicans letting that happen?
Because some nutcases broke the law by trespassing. Trump does not support them.

Sure, Sybil. Great fantasy. No doubt plenty of RW nutjobs believe as you. Also, like you, none of them are doing a damn thing about it except sit, bitch and spin at your computers.

Fucking chickenshits. LOL

They have been for most of their history.

Right, but not right now.

That's the point.

Right now, they are run by alt-right religious conservatives with the alternative being narcoterrorists.

The remedy are free and fair elections, but we don't call for those in Central America very often because when they are conducted, the socialists usually win.
