For the women

I am not claiming credit for my superior intellect. I was lucky genetically as I was being born in the USA.

It is what it is sport.

You don't have a superior intellect. You are incapable of anything more than a two word answer. You have no vocation and no degree. You claimed you were reading at a college level in first grade. Dick and Jane is not a college textbook. What you said was one of the dumbest things ever posted on JPP. Ironic.

'I was lucky genetically as I was being born in the USA' That sentence literally makes no sense, and you have butchered the English language. I was wrong. You should have maybe shot for 95. I think that might be overstated.

I can help you with investing if you would like. Not everyone has the knack.

You already know, TAG, the worth that I attach to your opinion.
You're a social Neanderthal and serve no purpose--have no value.
I want what works. In terms of medical care we need to ditch the socialized medicine model where government runs the system entirely. Instead, we should have a national catastrophic health issue insurance program backed by individual and employer medical savings accounts with a market based on pay as you go without using insurance for routine care.

You don't. We had an investment discussion. You had no clue what you were talking about. I have around 8 million dollars in my investment accounts. Thanks but no thanks, Joenius.
I seriously doubt your claims of wealth. All you have is credit card debt.

I have shown proof of my investment return yet you continue to doubt.

I don’t doubt you. I know you have no idea. I took 10k in 1979 and turned it into 8 million dollars when I retired. We had a number of people participating in a fairly detailed discussion about investing. You didn’t even understand a Roth. You are at your simplest a foul mouthed, hateful, ignorant, cretinous, punkish little man.

Your claims are outlandish because your posts completely belie them. You allude to being in some position that requires secrecy yet you post that in a message board. You claim near genius level IQ and yet you can’t put a sentence together. I asked you a question about polling that invited discussion of things like statistics, stratification, changing technology, etc.and you provided a one sentence answer. It's like someone claiming to be a great artist and posting a stick figure horsey as proof.

No, Joe, I won’t be asking for your advice on anything. I am your superior in every possible way. There is absolutely nothing of worth you could advise me about.

That is ten times worse than what we have now. A disaster. I don’t even know where to start. You cannot dicentivuze proactive screenings and preventative care. You are incentivizing companies to drive you to expensive and undesirable chronic care. I suspect you took that right off some right wing think tank website. You are clueless. Single payer systems are proven to give the best outcomes at the lowest cost. What you propose will do the opposite. Single payer is not socialized medicine. I personally don’t want to see a publicly paid provider system, but your proposal gives all the power to big pharma. It’s frankly a laughable plan. If you want what works you want single payer and everyone covered.,

Because at least Trump isn't a Progressive Leftist. The Progressive Left is the single worst thing to every be inflicted on humanity.
You're a mental midget.
You probably actually believe the shit that you're spewing.

The arc of history goes left.
Eventually we will have all the socialist programs that more advanced countries have.
But as usual, just as with the abolition of slavery, we'll be one of the very last,
because our population is diseased with backward people like yourself.

I strongly disagree, actually. Medicare for all
is public payment for private services which is unnecessarily expensive.

I want to see the complete deprivatization of ALL aspects of healthcare.
Healthcare for profit is unacceptable among civilized people.

If people can afford ultra high end private insurance and private care
AFTER paying for the national system. then more power to them.

But EVERYBODY pays for the public system.
We're a long way from being civilized, I know,
but that's how civilized nations do it.
And someday, that's how we'll do it.

We were also behind the rest of the world in abolishing slavery as well.
Solidarity-lacking societies like ours tend to be regressive.
Multi-cultural America remains a socially regressive nation.

Let's clarify your disagreement, however. Your disagreement is with the idea that the provider side should be private. I'd prefer keeping it mostly private, but that does not change the fact that what the board Nazi is proposing will be a disaster for the country. If someone is faced with a choice between putting food on the table and paying for a colonoscopy, we all know what will happen. His proposal would force people, especially low income people, to forego preventative care, leading to a rise in chronic illness, a rise in costs, and worse outcomes. It's laughable in it's simplistic foundation. It makes no sense, but of course everyone involved in the for profit healthcare business would love it.

Medicare sets the rate of payment to providers. The problem is that Congress always blows through those. Sometimes with good reason, but mostly because the are on the payroll. If we have a system in which the government sets the payment schedule, it will shift the burden of compensating doctors where it belongs. That additional care you mentioned will be MUCH more expensive, but rich people WILL pay it.

It's you who didn't understand the Roth IRA and apparently still don't.

I'm still willing to help you get your life on track even though you're rude and arrogant.

All you have to do is swallow your pride and ask.

Agree totally.

As for my comments,
even if we eventually get an NHS, Medicare for All would likely come first.
Baby steps. Ours have been tiny--VA, Medicare, minimal Medicaid....but we've got to keep going.
We're too developed and wealthy to be where we are. It's an embarrassment.
