The legal question is not the character of Floyd, but whether it was an illegal homicide. It has already been found to be a homicide. So the legal question is do the police have the right to choke someone for minutes after they have lost consciousness?

If they do for Floyd, they also can do the same thing to a nun, Nobel Peace Prize winner, or anyone else. It is sad that given todays climate, I have trouble thinking of very good people.
