GOP moron quote of the week.

You whining about derailing threads with off topic pabulum is the epitome of irony. But again, you're an incredible uninformed dullard; you can't even begin to comprehend such irony.

do you care to defend the quote from the republican congressman posted in the OP or not?

Why bother....

THIS bullshit was ordered directly from the White House and all you can do is lamely try to blame the House of Rep. because My Way Or the Highway Obama refuses to negotiate anything...

Feds Try to Close the Ocean
Just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was "closed" due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.

The Park Service will also have rangers on duty to police the ban... of access to an ocean. The government will probably use more personnel and spend more resources to attempt to close the ocean, than it would in its normal course of business.

The op was about "moron quotes".....I just just upped the ante to include moron actions......and I see you've got nothing to refute them....

The House has passed several bills providing funding for the National Institutes of Health and other areas of the federal government that have been financially weakened since the shutdown began Tuesday. The Dimocrat Senate has rejected each bill....

Do yourself a favor and stfu for awhile.

.

YES WE DO

Shutting down the government is the ultimate moronic action. Trying to pick and choose what to fund after that - just further stupidity.

What would happen if someone fell and broke a leg at the wall, and there was no one to help them? they'd sue. And more likely - without rangers there, what keeps people from leaving trash and graffitti at the wall site? because people are morons and WILL do that.

You are in favor of our monuments getting desecrated because no one was there to stop it?

Re boating - http://blog.oceanconservancy.org/2013/09/30/everything-you-need-to-know-about-how-a-government-shutdown-will-affect-the-ocean/
What about the Coast Guard and law enforcement on the ocean?

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard will only maintain emergency response, maritime safety and search-and-rescue activities that are “necessary for safety of life and protection of property.”

Fisheries enforcement patrols will be cut back drastically. Maintenance to navigation buoys will be curtailed. Services to shippers and recreational boaters like issuing or renewing licensing or seaman documentation will be stopped.

You'll be the first one yelling if a boat gets into trouble and can't get help due to the shutdown. Damn straight commercial boats should be stopped from taking customers out there.

Obama found 7 guards to keep the vets from viewing the monuments...maybe he could get them to "guard" the monument from vandals and help all those poor souls with broken limbs that happen to people that stare too long at the monuments.....you're so lame its hard to answer you without stopping to laugh at your crap.

Read your own link....how stupid are you to use that as an excuse to stop fishermen from fishing and boaters from boating....you're an airhead...

yeah could you get your morons to stop that?

Well my dear, Google is a wonderful thing.

You should look at the Obama budget that didn't get a single vote in House... either Democrat or Republican.

I think a universal and bi-partisan verdict is unquestionable.... Obama's a moron.

Dear village dunce; the President and a Democrat led Senate that refuses to pass a budget are major culprits in this malaise. But you're the village dunce; how can we possibly expect you to think or be honest?

Horseshit.

The republicans in the House tried how many times to repeal ACA? And failed every time. So they attached the repeal to the budget and then expect it to pass?

It was a chickenshit way to try and get the repeal thru. And they knew the dems wouldn't go for it. The shutdown is NOT about the budget. It is about the republicans who are so desperate to repeal the ACA that they will shutdown the gov't.

This should be repeated over and over on every website, forum, facebook page, and news program. Shouted from the mountaintops.

This is what it's about.

they know they cant repeal it .

they are just dancing for the idiots they courted into their party when they could no longer win elections by just cheating.

Its what happens to a party who doesn't really believe in Democracy
