Well that's why I generally tend to go to the intro section first before I start posting and do an intro thread. People should start checking there...maybe if people did that they would know when someone was new. It's there for a reason isn't it?

Very true. I'll probably end up ignoring the pathetic crap and just stick to people who are generally curious in my opinions and all that. Thankfully I've more so come across those type of people instead of the pathetic smear attempts. Well the only good thing about this thread is that it's helped me to meet everyone. :D And yea the whole being afraid of socialism is so last century. Cheers! :clink:

The labor party is rooted in Socialism from the rise of Ramsay MacDonald. As recently as the 80's they called for an end to the common market with Foot and Kinnock persued that still.
It was only with Blair that they introduced "New Labour" and abandoned the market socialism that had failed in the 70's. But they still went ahead with persuing Socialism via welfare policies til today.
 
Oh okay. I understand now. All I really knew was he was a part of the Labour party.
