So it's freedom of speech to ignore your own country's Constitution? Wow imagine that. So I guess it's cool and fine if George Bush ignores our Constitution right? Far more like excuses? So I guess you can ignore the Constitution when it suits you. And yes it does make them so if they are ignorant on a situation just like you are.

What tells you that I ignore it in my nation's constitution? Assumptions don't make you look any wiser than repetition does.

I work towards my own form of "utopia", as you do towards yours. I don't accept their nation's excuses for closing news stations any more than I accept ours.

If it was in their constitution then I would kindly ask why they had to pass a bill that gave him that new power?

Have you ever been called into court? Did you go? You follow what the courts say whether you like it or not. If you don't like it than you challenge it in court. Criminal justice 101 sweetie.

Pure socialism, just like pure libertarianism, on a nation-state scale can probably never work. Pure socialism probably does lead to totalitarism (at least historically), just like pure libertarianism would lead to anarchy or plutocracy. They might work on smaller micro scales. That's why successful nations either have hybrid economies, or regulated capitalism.

But, I was just pointing out that your analogy about venezuelan freedom of the press is a political problem, not an economic one;, i.e, totalitarianism. Some form of hybrid socialism does not neccessarily translate into totalitariansim. Totalitarianism is a function of the political climate, and the prescence (or lack thereof) of the rule of law. Totalitarianism can take hold in socialist economies, as well as economies dominated by private capital (Batista, Pinochet, Hitler).

I have smeared nothing here at all, I have asked you questions and given observations. You answered them, I did as well.

Clearly you believe wholeheartedly in your opinion as "fact", but it doesn't change that you know little of my opinion on things. You appear to be equally ignorant of libertarianism as you claim I am to socialism.
