I had some decent exchanges with her too in the past. But, likewise with your experience, I also cleaned her clock time and time again, so she eventually banned herself from me. It only negatively affects her, since I can still respond to her posts all the same.

She doesn't really have anyone on ignore...I'm not sure anyone here really does.;)..especially the ones who use a ban list on their threads....

Yup. Technically speaking, even though "ignore" does block her from seeing my direct posts, it does not block her from seeing other people's direct posts. Those people's posts might contain quotes of my own posts. Therefore, she still sees quite a few of my posts anyway. So, she's more or less just banning herself from directly responding to me. Her loss.

Precisely. That method of "banning" does nothing. I will simply just create an "open discussion" parallel thread and respond to their posts in there.

My best minion of all though carefully reads all of my posts at 4:30am, from the evening prior, then makes what she supposes are witty little comments referencing them in obscure places. Her way of worship is odd, but comforting. lol

Part of me is a little creeped out that certain posters I almost never read or even pay attention to, are nonetheless making it a point to read almost everything I write, tracking my posts down, making it a point to read them all the way through, and relentlessly composing replies to me in a vain attempt for my attention. My writing is obviously extremely interesting and compelling for these dupes!

I have to chalk it up in part to mental illness and clinical obsession.

But, I cannot deny there is a certain comedy value in this kind of buffoonery!

Bingo.

Both gfm and I will often bring threads out of the kiddie pool that we spot. We both tend to believe that forums are for discussion. Topics that concern all should be discussed by all.

These idiots think that plugging their ears somehow make the arguments of a conservative disappear. It's just like a little obstinate child stamping and plugging their ears yelling, "I can't HEAR YOU!". In logic this is called an argument of the stone fallacy.
