Guns, guns, guns, guns

Jan 6 was a minor three-hour riot, nothing more. Only alarmist crazies on the radical Left think otherwise.

But it failed. That's the point. Perhaps if the "patriots" had had more ability to stick with it they could have succeeded. But they didn't.

Right now we have claims that American "freedom fighters" could stand up against the full force of the US military for years or decades. But when we see them ACTUALLY defending liberty against a horrifying "steal" they could only manage to beat one cop to within an inch of life with a fire extinguisher before they retreated back home.

I'd say the evidence right now points to a huge gap in the expectation vs the reality.

Riots don't fail. They just disappear, peter out, end. That's what happened on Jan 6. If it were really a true insurrection, the rioters would have camped out in the Capitol and a siege with police would have ensued. That didn't happen. It would have been more the Seattle CHAZ / CHOP situation.

What would would success look like? They could have killed the politicians and wrecked the government. Then what? They are delusional if they think the people would back them.

Riots don't fail. They just disappear, peter out, end.

That's special pleading. This was an attempt to keep an election from being certified. They failed. They had one job. And they were motivated. They failed.

This is some of the worst logic I've ever read.

You cannot say that.
I certainly can.
I work with statistics every day. I know it far better than you.
Now you are claiming you're a professional statistitician?? You deny and discard statistical math and probability math. Stop making up shit about yourself.
That doesn't mean anything. You don't know what you are talking about.
Yes it does. That fact that you don't know what it means shows your own illiteracy.
Just more bullshit from you. Those things are not necessary to my point.
Yes it is.
And that's not even really anything people do.
Sure they do.
No one "justifies variance" before looking at data. The data yields the variance it has.
Variance has nothing to do with data. You haven't even provided any raw unbiased data.
Not necessary for my point.
Yes it is. If you are going to claim data, you must provide it. It must be raw and unbiased. No cooked data is allowed.
Besides, you don't know what ANY of those things entail.
You are describing yourself again. Inversion fallacy.
Now you are just making shit up.
Nope. You made a bigoted statement. That's a fallacy. Don't try to deny your own posts. ANYONE can go back to read it.
You don't seem to know much about the topic. Or how language is used.
Inversion fallacy. You are describing yourself again. Conflation fallacy. Discard of logic.

That's special pleading. This was an attempt to keep an election from being certified. They failed. They had one job. And they were motivated. They failed.

That is not a special pleading. It is an observable fact. Riots end. They just go away. The protesters fade into the woodwork. How many Jan 6 protesters were arrested at the Capitol building itself? How many were hunted down by the FBI et al., later? The riot ended and the rioters went home.
A good indicator of riot versus insurrection is a riot ebbs and flows. Rioters don't try and hold territory. If confronted with government forces, they will yield ground rather than stand and fight. Insurrectionists take ground (to include buildings) and then hold them against attempts by government authorities to take them back.

This is some of the worst logic I've ever read.

CHAZ / CHOP declared themselves an independent nation. That is textbook insurrection. They then tried to defend their territory from government coming in and putting down their insurrection. Again, textbook.

Just because you don't like those outcomes, doesn't change them. Jan 6 was a riot. CHAZ / CHOP was an insurrection.

But it failed.
No. The coup by Democrats was successful...for now.
That's the point.
An inversion fallacy is not a point.
Perhaps if the "patriots" had had more ability to stick with it they could have succeeded.
There were not patriots.
But they didn't.
The coup by Democrats was successful...for now.

They would win easily.

The rank and file military knows what it means to attack your own citizens. They won't do it. They know the terrible cost of it, even if military leaders don't.

There are currently approximately 1.5 million active duty in the military. There are about 200 million people that own their own guns, the are over 300 million guns privately owned. The people know their own turf too. The military doesn't. The military also depends on a supply line originating with the people they would be attacking.

It's not even a contest. The people will win.

The fact that you are too stupid to see this just shows how blind you are. It is your religions and hatred that blind you.
But when we see them ACTUALLY defending liberty
Democrats don't defend liberty.
against a horrifying "steal"
Democrats instigated the riots on Jan 6th, dumbass...just as Democrat supported brigands burn and loot cities.
they could only manage to beat one cop to within an inch of life with a fire extinguisher before they retreated back home.
Democrats did that.
I'd say the evidence right now points to a huge gap in the expectation vs the reality.
Inversion fallacy. Buzzword fallacy. You can't even define what 'real' or 'reality' even mean.

You are missing the larger point. NO ONE ON THE LEFT says they need guns to keep the government from turning evil.

THe RIGHT has pushed that narrative in defense of the 2A for years now. It is, indeed, why we even have the Second Amendment.

So if you eliminate January 6 as a test case, then you have absolutely NO DATA to support the concept that modern Americans armed only with their pistols and hunting rifles could take on the full force of the US military or that they would have the staying power.

Same bunch instigated both actions. In both cases, they tried to blame everything on Trump.

Democrats.

That's special pleading.
Fallacy fallacy. No special pleading took place by T.A. Gardner. Buzzword fallacy.
This was an attempt to keep an election from being certified.
There was no election in 2020. Congress does not certify the electors. The States do.
They failed. They had one job. And they were motivated. They failed.
The coup by Democrats was successful...so far.
This is some of the worst logic I've ever read.
You discard logic.
