I dont understand the map. It doesn't tell you what the colors mean! I cant see that working in densely populated areas. Maybe that is why i think its a dumb Idea. I'm from a major city. I guess where population is sparse and there are long stretches you are alone then I could see that working.

For once I agree with you and was waiting for the verdict before I brought it up. The main issue is that laws have to change so these things don't happen again!

I was so disappointed in Detroit and Buffalo. I expected America to be all glamour and glitz but all I seen was poverty and the stores and malls were puny!

I wasn't shot but I heard of bad stories of Canadians caught in the wrong neighborhood at night. I'm sure those stories would be worse if people were all packing. But I'm sure the people are not dumb enough to sell guns to those poor black guys? Or are they? I would imagine you need a permit and that would cost a pretty penny.

I think the first link is kinda deceiving. It only shows from 2006 to now. I'm talking in general. Sure there was an upswing in violence in the crack cocaine epidemic. Dealers were killing each other for crack territory. Also the FBI acknowledges that there has also been an upswing in mass murders. Soon I will have access to my data and I will provide it.

To protect your own home! I FULLY AGREE! I was a little skeptical about people having the right to bear arms who weren't hunters or law enforcement. My logical refutation pointed out that your figures include only up to 2006! I'd say the crack years(80's and 90's) were particularly violent and riddled with crime and there has been a huge reduction in crack related crime, though over all, I'd say that there is MORE crime today then before, because times are harder for many people. Statistically, recessions and depression increase crime. And America is certainly in a recession, even though your leaders tell you, your not and the people are in denial.

The FBI can crunch the numbers just like any crooked economist and make it appear they are doing a good job but the facts are that criminals are more organized and sophisticated these days for the most part.
