Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander, and Bruce McGill seem to be easier to get along with than my daughter when she's in a "mood."

Unlike my Colt Gold Cup, which is sleeping in a fancy presentation case, her Glock is loaded.

Their concerns aren't problems confronting America, they are not offering solutions, but rather looking for and manipulating wedge issues, personal attacks, "railing" against another. It is a simplistic outlook based upon melodrama, and not anything that is ever going to extend their base beyond the MAGA militia

I love that show. I started to watch it on one of the retro channels and got hooked.

Even though your daughter's not in homicide, domestic violence can lead to it. I expect your daughter stays fully firearm-qualified for any possibility.

Too much of a generalization. Look at Ilhan Omar and Anorexia Occasional-Cortex. They’re nothing more than rabble rousing hate filled drama queens that offer no solution for anything. I don’t put all dems in their category.
As to “solutions “ we had a far left mayor and city council whose “solutions “ have caused problems rather than solutions. See Portland, San Francisco or Seattle, e.g.
Luckily that changes July 1.

She only starting calling me "Dad" after she grew up.
Before that, she usually called me "Fatman."

I remember her squealing on me when she was about four.

Mommy, Fatman is drinking soda water with no Scotch in it!

She thought that I was doing something wrong.

Then, when she got to be a teenager, she and my wife became two women trying to live under the same roof.
That was tense, but she cast her lot with taking sides with me then.
Once college started, the two of them were tight again.
Now she's very close to both of us at once.

Her ex was a Detective Lieutenant. They just did one of those minimally hostile "mediated" divorces.
No kids. No serious brawling. They'll both be OK financially.
He's several years older than she and plans to retire at the end of this year anyway.

That's one of those cute family stories that passed into legend lol. You must be an easygoing dad. If I had called mine "Fatman" more than once, he would have backhanded me.

A civilized divorce is much better than the other kind so good on them for managing it. It's not too late to start over. Nobody in my family is in law enforcement but I've heard it can make or break couples.

Look at AOC, good example, she never stops bringing possible solutions, some may be out there, but she is active introducing ideas. Now compare her to little Jimmy Jordan, who's sole presence in the House is to manipulate wedge issues to get his fifteen minutes on Fox, no ideas, no solutions, just attacks

And you people crack anyone up with your urban "shitholes" mythology, last I knew, people are in no hurry to go and visit Kansas, and we got large parts of WV, Tenn and Kentucky where American citizens still don't have indoor plumbing and electricity. There is a reason why young people migrate to cities
