You, know, I'm a dog person but I really like cats too.

Unfortunately, they make my wife's eyes swell. She takes an antihistamine before we go to our daughter's house because our daughter has two.
[Four counting the two in urns on the mantle. She thought that rescuing other cats in their place was the best possible tribute.]

Our son, her older brother, looks in on them when she is away on vacation or a business trips.
Vile creatures, he calls them, even while doting on them as if they were his own.

I'm the opposite, I own cats but really like dogs. They're more work than cats, though. I guess you can get used to leaving the house in all kinds of weather to walk them but for me that would get old quickly. Pretty sure your winters are a lot more hellish than ours, too. Do you have a fenced in yard for when you can't walk them?

Dogs are always happy to see you, cats can take you or leave you.

Like you're a foul shit stain. That has shit to do with a Rally you deflecting cock sucker.

Jokebox: "People who actually care about what is happening to this country caused by you foul shit stains."
Jack: "Like COVID is a Chinese Hoax?"

:) You made a statement about the people that go to the Rally. I made a comment about how they ignore the pandemic. Now, you're asking me what has that got to do with the Rally?

Even crowds where you would fit right in MAGA, get to wear all your Trump paraphernalia, scream traitor at the media, listening to Donnie personally attacking his friends and foes? Come on, it's right up your alley, what else do you have to do now that Hew Haw is gone off the TV

Let's hope the majority are vaxxed and it doesn't turn into another trump super spreader.

You got the last line right, ain't into chain stores, strip malls, boulevards, nor flat, and if I am not mistaken Manhattan, Kansas even has a major college located in the city. And where/why did the city name itself Manhattan.

And I live near, and often travel to, some of those cities you call "shitholes," and I ain't ever been attacked by weirdos, criminals, nor stepped in poop, and New Orleans has always been a mess, been there twice and no hurry to return, but what do you expect, it is in Louisiana
Like I said , to each their own. I too have been to all those cities and will never ever return.

I'd say kidney stones are more pleasant than listening to a charlatan like that ramble. I've done both plenty and know the score. Mind you that was on TV and I can't imagine how bad it is in person.

I hear that. We used to record the national news just so we could fast forward through any news of the DerangedDemigod. lol

What a change! They’ll love it there. I’m happy for them. There are very few places in Louisiana that I’d consider living in.
Houma is definitely not one of them.

No, it was quite a culture shock for them. He had gotten a position as a museum director but the place had financial issues from the pandemic and laid everyone off, then closed perhaps permanently. He was unemployed for over a year, then found the KS position.

My son lives in a suburb of Baton Rouge. He transferred there from Washington (state) after he left the Navy and got a job at the nuke plant there. Quite a difference in culture too, eh?

Yea, I went to one in Phoenix because my accountant got me tickets. It was like getting a cavity filled with no novacaine, something I've actually had done several times because I'm just that sort of person. Anyway, it was boring and really something of a surprise how small they are when you actually show up.

The best part of the whole night was the minor riot by the Left afterwards where one of the idiot protesters took a gas round to the balls... Seeing the Leftist protesters was interesting. They were acting like a bunch of idiots the whole time.

Now that was funny!

I have no idea what Trump talked about either, since I mostly ignored him...

^^ Deflecting cocksucker.

The cult of the hive. The ghost of Karl Marx leads it on its road to perdition.

I have heard that people have to show up many hours early, that it is a huge chunk if not most of a day.

That's a deal breaker for me.

Why would that be required? Do they need to ascertain loyalty to the #MalignantMessiah? Make sure no one's armed?

I've only been to two presidential candidate rallies -- Kerry's in 2004 and Bernie's in 2016. We didn't have to arrive early for either one. Sanders' was in an indoor arena so ppl had to go through metal detectors. Kerry's was outside and you just walked up and mingled with the crowd.
