I will tell you something. The reason the Repubs have "seen the intelligence" and are supporting war, is the same reason Democrats "saw the intelligence' and voted for the Iraq war resolution.

And it's got nothing to do with any intelligence, which is in short supply.

It's because war is the one truly bipartisan issue. It's because the war pigs who own our politiicans must be fed. It's because United States foreign policy does one thing very well (besides killing); it endures.

I'll bite. OBL stated he wanted death to the west. Assad is gassing his own people in a civil war. How are those two things related?
