We both know that it cancelled the Affordable Care Act subsidies for 22 million Americans. That is not clean. That is very, very messy.

Republican leadership does not even need to force Republicans to vote for a clean bill, there is more than enough support for it. Just let it come to a vote.

to prove it - keep the government shut down and that health care subsidy still goes away - the CR itself is not why. it's already set in motion - motion you set under Biden

That is if you have the know how to do so. I recently got back into usmb. Though I didn't have time to write anything at that time. So I waited a couple of days. I was going to put this thread there. But when I went to sign in, they had banned me for being a spammer. But I hadn't even written anything yet for them to call "spam!" What a bunch of assholes.

Well the president apparently has the power to tell republicans in congress to do or not do whatever he says. That's good enough. Next, as I said, the shutdown really isn't about the affordable care legislation. It is about the "justice" department being required to release what they have on Epstein. That is, those things that haven't already been shredded or blacked out. Also, what is a "clean CR?"
