The narcissism is coupled with a populace love of country & a belief he can solve America’s negative issues. There’s no hate associated with my vote. All things being considered and which policies and briefs I agree with the most his platform and policies meets more of my expectations and interpretations of our constitution than what the Democratic candidates are offering. He is far from perfect and my history on this forum will clearly show that I have never been a big fan of the man but at the very least he meets more of what I’d want from a policy point of view than the alternatives.

I’m not happy with a number of things that he has said and done, however, he also isn’t advocating the destruction of many of our constitutional rights and isn’t advocating for a socio-economic system is is totally unsustainable and unrealistic like many on the democratic candidate side are advocating for.

Really nothing to be honest. Trump barely meets my own personal requirements for example. He isn’t a constitutional conservative, or atleast what I would consider a constitutional conservative, and his communication style is embarrassing, however, he at the very least isn’t calling for “free” everything, tax rates that would harm most Americans, and isn’t looking to gut constitutional rights. Until a Democratic candidate can declare that “free” everything is false, that gun ownership is a right in need of protection, among many other things then on principle alone I cant vote for them.

Today's Democrats are the party of hate, division, socialism, neo-communism, race baiting, authoritarianism, anti-constitutionalism, open borders, anti-Christianity, pro taxpayer financed abortion, anti-Bill Of Rights, lies deception & corruption. Personally I am not a fan of trump, which is rather obvious, but neither am I a Dem..

I see your comments as a real wake-up call for that party, while I guess it just annoys some of them.:dunno:

trump most certainly has his failings but that, as your post points out, will not be enough to get lots of folks to vote Dem.

W/o some compelling reasons, you & many others are going to just stick w/ trump. (thanks for pointing out examples of what are NOT compelling reasons)..

While these reasons (perhaps) play well w/ their base, in recent polling it certainly does not poll well in the general electorate..

One of the criticisms of trump (& IMHO it is valid) is he plays to his base, pleasing them & the hell w/ everyone else, & most Dems I believe think this is a loosing strategy for trump, & yet it seems to me the Dems are doing the same, playing to their base..

There are a few not on the free train for everyone, but they may never make it to the nom.
