I'm confused!

The Democrats like to drive home a statistic, that 90% of all drugs are stopped at America’s ports of entry to the point of ad-nausea. Where does that statistic come from, and how does anybody know 90% of all drugs coming to America are stopped at the ports of entry when they logically have no clue how many drugs get into America undetected, if they’re undetected? How do they count “undetected?”

Do you live in a fantasy world. Drug addiction is not a new problem. You will never stop the demand. Calling it a liberal medical condition will not stop the demand either.
The best you can do is to try and stop the supply.

Trump was asked why he ignores the stats that those in charge of the border provide him. He essentially says he knows better. He knows the drugs come through the desert openings. He is wrong. He did say he relies on Fox Gnus, Hannity and Rush. So it makes sense that he would give fake stats.

According to US Customs and Border Protection stats, 90 percent of heroin comes in through ports of entry. 88 percent of cocaine, and 80 percent fentanyl. Sorry kiddies that is from those who do it as a job every day. Trump says he relies on Homeland Security which is run by Gillibrand a republican who works directly for Daffy. She would say all of it comes through desert opemnings if Trump told her to say it. You guys are so desperate to believe what the lyingest prick we ever had in office says. But those numbers only refer to what was found.

How do they know that they only missed 10% of the Heroin, 12% of the Cocaine, and 20% of the fentanyl??

OK, that fantasy means we should take financing away from the ports of entry because it is possible lots more, tons more actually come through the openings. Maybe we should blockade North Carolina because it might secretly be where the most drugs come in. The stats mean nothing when compared to pure speculation.
The fact that 10 percent of the drugs coming in through ports of are caught has been a well-known fact for decades.
El Chapo's trial just ended. At the trial, he said they use the ports of entry with carloads and truckloads. They dig tunnels. They use airplanes. They use submarines. The quantities they need to ship cannot be done by driving or walking through the desert.
We need to put our money into treatment of users. As long as enormous profits are made, someone will provide. Declare drugs use a medical problem and treat users. Interdiction is a huge waste of money. We have wasted trillions since Reagan and have not solved the problem at all. It is actually worse.

Did I say anything about taking funds from the Ports of Entry; because the more you whine, the more it's obvious that you know the wall will free up resources and manpower that can then be used to help at the Ports of Entry and that it's apparent that if anything isn't 100% effective, it's useless to your way of thinking.

So they multiply that by 10 to get a real solid estimate of how much drugs are really coming through.

They also have agents who grab people walking through the openings. And shockingly, they can count how many are carrying drugs for sale. It is minuscule compared to border openings.

But I would rather do it much faster'" You rightys do know that is a statement saying it is not an emergency. That statement will be used in court showing Trump says it is not an emergency.
