Is fascism left wing?

Various conservative authorities at JPP have told us so. But now that there’s a real prospect of fascists coming to power in Italy (again), RWNJs are drooling over it!

Dmitry Medvedev - former Russian president and Putin puppet - has crowed over prime minister Draghi’s fall. He expects that more pro-Ukrainian leaders like Johnson and Draghi could soon be forced out of power.

P.S. Don’t forget to send off for your MyPillows as recommended by the loudmouth in the video.

It’s the method that is fascist not the policies, however in practice it always seems to enact right wing policies.

I think you are confused with European version of left and right.

No. 'Left' is generally used to describe Democrats and other liberals, which typically are seated on the left side of Congress.
'Right' is generally used to describe Republicans and conservatives, which typically are seated on the right side of Congress.

It doesn't matter how any government in Europe seats their members in this use.

fascism isn't always nationalistic.
Quite right, though it usually is.
right now it's internationalist variant is infecting the minds of many, causing them to declare war on all people in all countries, on behalf of their internationalist oligarch/ finance industry overlords.

see klaus schwab and the world economic forum.

anyone who supports the WEF is an internationalist fascist, and it seems to be lefties and disgraced neocons like the cheneys.
Again, quite right. The WEF is acting as a government, attempting to manipulate markets.

they have dumbed down the definition to just mean anything not anti-national.

for them, not being a globalist dimwit means one is fascist.

of course the real definition is the union of corporate and state power. period.

:truestory:

internationalist fascism is a real thing, and is the paradigm of the current ruling anti-human elites.

No. Fascism is government manipulation of markets. There is no union of corporate and state power. Corporations are often at odds with government manipulating their markets. There are some corporations that WANT the government to manipulate the market in their favor though.

For the Left, "Fascist" has become nothing but an empty pejorative. It has no meaning. It's become a substitute for say, "Fuck you!" Leftists have no idea what a fascist is or what the word means beyond shouting it at anyone who disagrees with them.

Quite right. It's become a meaningless Holy Insult.

no it means nationalism.

i know being an internationalist you dont want to acknowledge that. because you don't want to face where you come down on the matter.

Fascism does not mean nationalism.
You have wandered into a paradox. You have stated that fascism is international, and now are stating that it is nationalism. Which is it, dude? Arguing both sides of a paradox is irrational.

Everyone is better informed than you. No matter what the issue, you just say progressives suck.

You don't get to speak for everyone. You only get to speak for you. Omniscience fallacy.
'Better informed than you' is a meaningless term. Base rate fallacy.

Progressives suck. They suck your wealth as they steal it for themselves.

Because early communist philosophy believed it would dominate the world is a far cry from what exists today. There is very little done in the way of pushing communist expansion. Communism also requires a socialist economic system but China has strayed from that and developed many capitalist free market concepts. Early U. S. history contained many concepts we no longer follow today.

Communism IS a socialist economic system.
It is one of the forms of socialism.

In my life time, it was the REPUBLICAN wonks in the media and general population during the REAGAN administration who publicly floated the idea of eliminating term limit for the Presidency.

Trump had an ass kissing fest by various senators and congressmen (Liz Cheney among them) televised during his first month in office. His documented actions and words lean towards his belief that the Presidency is autocratic in nature.

Currently polls show a percentage of Republicans would STILL vote for him in 2024.

Given that the tenants of reaganomics are deregulation regarding our corporations, and adding the undercurrent of evangelical christian theocracy (i.e., roe vs. wade), one would have to be either genuine stupid or willfully ignorant to see how the current RIGHT leans towards fascism.

Fascism - political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

>>>Merriam-Webster

Not the definition of fascism. False authority fallacy.

China went fascist. They adopted Statist Capitalism as an economic system, became very nationalistic, racist, and paranoid. They didn't move to the Right one iota, but rather just changed position on the radical Left.

China has both fascism and communism.

The government manipulates most every market. They own the building trade markets, including steel and concrete production.
