however my Stepdad was a Navy Commander... pilot from WWII era...I did not like him either...he was a jerk...all full of himself...thats why I went Army and my brothers also went...one Army...one AF...lol My bio Dad was a civilian as he had asthma but served as a Rocket fuel systems and aircraft systems engineer...he was cool!

You didn't create an analysis that stands up in any way to history. Your claim that AQ is a re-emergence of the Ottoman empire wouldn't stand up to the scrutiny of a schoolboy.

throwing unwarranted epithets at your superior officers is the sign of a man who knows he's gotten himself into an argument where he really doesn't have much else to stand on. You actually know very little about the middle eastern problem and all of the various aspects and nuances to it. It really isn't as simple as you are.
