Diversity Makes Greatness
Hello Kacper,
I don't think a 30 year time frame works for President Trump.
And really, your right. The money isn't the issue. It's giving in to Trump because he is having a hissy fit. That's the problem. We can't do that. Democrats were not sent to Congress to give in to Trump. They were sent there to represent their constituents. And their constituents do not want them to give in.
Why should Democrats give in when the longer this goes on, the more support Trump loses?
His little shut down has back fired. He is losing support, not gaining it.
Now we are just waiting to see how stubborn he is and much support he loses. He has already lost. It is sad to see him lose more. I think he is going to have to cry wolf, declare an emergency that doesn't exist, and take the heat for spending money set aside for disaster relief for Florida, Puerto Rico, Texas and California, further eroding his support.
As I said previously, $5B over 20 years it would take to build would be $250M/year. The DoD spends half that much a year on paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It is not as big and expensive as its price tag sounds. Do it over 30 years if you like. In that time the demos might actually win the WH again and kill it off.
