The definition of an insurrection is: a violent uprising against an authority or government. I don't recall this happening on November the 3rd, but on January 6th?!! As Kellyanne Conway once said, what we have is alternative facts?!! I want to see the leaders and planners of this Trump inspired insurrection brought to justice too?!! The insurrection did happen, we all watched it live on television as Trump hooligans storm the capitol?!! All this happen because of one man-child's fragile ego and his unwillingness to accept his election defeat?!! January 6th will also be a day that will live in infamy too?!!

My position used to be that anyone continuing to support Trump is a traitor to America.
I've revised that. It now is: Anyone not condemning Trump is a traitor to America.
Trump is the most disgusting thing to happen to America since its Civil War. And the traitors still supporting him (or not condemning him) are the most disgusting citizens America has ever had.
Trump should be tried, convicted of fomenting that insurrection, and thrown in jail for the rest of his life. I would even accept that he be placed under strict house arrest...providing the "house" be a modest apartment or bungalow somewhere outside the confines of a golf course.
Trump is scum...and so are the people still supporting him.

I saw a poll this morning that showed 56% of Republicans think the election was stolen. It wasn't. This is an existential threat to our democracy. It is the most important issue facing us, and people are rearranging deck chair on the Titanic. We have to get going on this.
