The events of January 6th, which culminated the frustration of those who believed The Big Lie, must be properly and accurately emblazoned into our history records without whitewash, and with all the due attention they deserve.

DJT violated the sanctity of our nation and the tradition of the peaceful transfer of power. This has left our nation vulnerable. It is unconscionable. DJT deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison. That is what needs to happen for America to begin healing.

America needs to learn how to deal with fake news. Without fake news, the extremists of the right would have nothing.

The Republican party is destroyed. In it's place stands an ugly cadre of extremists bonded by hatred. This cannot be the basis of our country.

We the good people of America, from whatever political background, need to stand up to that for the good of America and the world.

Yes, they do. Anyone who supports the violent overthrow of the US government, attacking police and/or installing a dictator wants war. Last year I wasn't kidding when I said I identified the nutjob Trump supporters in my area. Should our government be overthrown and a dictator installed there would have been war. In the confusion, as bodies quickly piled up, I would have shot (sniped) all the adults in those houses as opportunities presented itself.

I advise every American to buy a rifle and a pistol then become proficient in its use as a means of taking down the fascists in your midsts should our government be overthrown. Know who your enemies are and file that information away until it's needed. No mercy for traitors and attackers against the Constitution.

My wife and I have been binge watching the series during the last two weeks. It is amazing how much stuff I missed the first time.

Great acting on the part of the entire ensemble.

I disagree. A shooting war of America politics is what the right wing extremists have been hoping for.

Dude, you can't stop bullets with strongly worded letters of protest. Once the shooting starts, the best reaction is to shoot back or, if the tactical situation dictates, retreat, reorganize and attack from a different direction.

For most Americans, nobody is going to come to their door and start shooting. The only people involved in any shooting are the gun people who want to go out in a blaze of glory for some perceived cause, possibly the big lie, and whomever they decide to shoot. Most Americans will only hear about it on the news, and should not seek to get involved in any hot shooting war over politics.

Any extremist who wants 'the shooting to start' and acts on that urge will end up dead or in prison.

Cooler heads will prevail and not become a part of that.
