Well...there's (evidently) good money to be made on the campaign trail. That, and he might just want to carry out an old grudge against trump, who is more than likely very nervous about what Bolton can say in public.
I'm guessing Bolton has a bit to say about how trump handled classified info.
Putting together an organization that could actually run a campaign is expensive. And he would have zero support from big money donors, and probably very little from small donors. The last thing big business wants is a war mongering hawk in the White House. Just my take. I think Bolton has gone from being serious to being just another wing of the clown show. He hates Trump though, that much is true.

Yup. All true, especially if you think you can win. IF you are running a 'serious' campaign as referenced.
I'm thinking some Dem. super pac will be happy to pay the way for a few stops along the trail. Not unlike the much criticized move of dumping millions into MAGA morons in the last primaries. They looked like geniuses in the end.
