People had him as "Mr. Establishment," but he was one of the revolutionaries in Congress in the '90's, and got out of DC - and he had a fantastic record of accomplishment in OH.

I am not a Republican - far from it - but I think he had a chance to be the best President in my lifetime. Smart, practical, experienced & with a strong record of accomplishment. I'll never understand how we ended up w/ people like Trump and Hillary when he was right there.
 
Kasich supports the TPP -automatic disqualification.. sanders is lame on US "leadership" -wants everything done by coalition

What I like about Kasich is once elected he wants to get things done.
Most politicians just want to get re-elected.
When first elected the first thing the Republicans wanted to do was drill under Lake Erie,Kasich said no!
 
People liked the Ohio Governor's demeanor and personal attributes, but demeanor and personal attributes are pretty irrelevant compare to policy.
Kasich has an (R) after his name.
That means something.
All the calm and pleasant demeanor in the world can't make up for having the kind of perverted values to allow an (R) after your name.

In Massachusetts, Charlie Baker has been actually doing a decent job--of course, Governors are executives, not law makers--but he has that (R) after his name that will nonetheless compromise his credibility forever. That's just the way it is.

I'm a Socialist and I voted for Kasich because he is a good man,and didn't let the Republican Party or Republican legislation push him around!
He took the Medicaid expansion money!I got coverage because he did!
