Absolutely not street legal machines. Tesla blows off almost every ICE. The newest Tesla does. You can drive a Tesla on the street.

Funny how uniformed rightys attack the Prius, one of the most reliable and appreciated cars on the planet. I suppose it is just a flaw in lefty thinking that they want a car getting over 50 miles a gallon that is a comfortable and reliable vehicle, It must somehow show bad lefty values. I just cannot think of how though.

I can drive 400 miles on a tankful of gasoline, fill up in 5 minutes and drive another 400. Can you do that with your Tesla?

I have a Volt. So I can. There are charging stations that recharge quickly and they are getting better all the time. I can drive cross country.

It is not the power train that makes the prius and the volt waste all that energy in the wake of traffic it creates, and it is not the power train that causes hybrids and electrics like the prius and volt to drive 53 in the left lane. It is the lefty behind the wheel.

It doesn't matter how quick these cars are, since the reason why the prius wastes so much energy is that it lands in the hands of lefty owners, where it is then used to create a steady wake of fuel wasting traffic congestion. The smooth flow of traffic gets interrupted, ad all the other cars end up using more fuel when a lefty prius driver is on the road. The lefty behind the wheel is where the problem is. Everything lefties touch breaks, dies, or turns to shit.
