It gave trillions of dollars to the richest Americans, including Trump himself, which is probably another reason why he won't release his tax returns. It gave a pittance to other taxpayers, while removing some of their deductions. What those richest got was permanent, while what benefit everyone else got expires. Of course, you are unwilling to, and probably incapable of, understanding any of that. Trump said that it benefits you and that's all you need or want.
